Abstract

Mandana Mas is a company engaged in the fashion world that produce accessories made from beads. The purpose of designing this profile video media campaign is an effort to increase brand awareness of a perusaahan. Further research conducted with qualitative research methods that will conduct interviews, observation, documentation, and literacy in order to obtain the data used to support the design of Mandana Mas’s profile video. Keyword of designing video Mandana profile Mas've been through data analysis that has been done. Determining keywords is taken based on the data collected from interviews, observations, STP, literature studies, existing studies, and studies of competitors resulting in "Dynamic" as a keyword designing this profile video. The concept of "Dynamic" aims to demonstrate a business step of Mandana Mas who has integrity and innovative personality. So media video promotions and media profile supporter in the form of websites and product catalogs designed to give a picture of Mandana Mas information about working with integrity. Kata Kunci : Fashion, Accessories, Video Profile, Media Promotion, Brand Awareness.

Abstract

Abstract: CV. Prawara Dwi Persada is a company that runs in the field of architecture and interior design. This newcomer company that runs in business of architecture, need an effort to build a strong identity and image in order to create brand awareness of the company. Then, the act of rebranding as an effort to create brand awareness with the creation of a new identity and promotional media such as a logo for the company, stationery sets, print ads, and website is necessary. The purpose of this final assignment is to rebranding CV. Prawara Dwi Persada which will adjust the vision and mission of the company and provide a fresh visual appearance than previous branding. To be able producing draft and appropriate design, it takes several stages such as interviews, observation, data collection, the creative strategy from CV. Prawara Dwi Persada and then continued to the process of designing. The keywords that has been obtained from these stages is the "treasure". This final assignment report produces logo, print media advertising, stationery sets, and a website, which will be submitted to the company owner of CV. Prawara Dwi Persada.

Abstract

Art Jaranan Kediri very thick with each show mystical activities, ranging from trance, to eat things that are not natural, such as eating grass and broken glass. Jaranan Dance Arts is one of art owned by the Indonesian state and  many other cultural arts. In the staging of dance art jaranan tells a brief history jaranan dance arts. Unfortunately at this time, jaranan art like this is now becoming obsolete by youngster. Only generation handful of people who still survive to preserve one of Kediri jaranan dance arts. The lack of information in various media to learn the art of dance jaranan, making dance jaranan Kediri began to fade. Therefore, this study aims to create an illustrated book Jaranan with the vector technique to preserve kediri local culture. The design of this illustrated book using the method of collecting qualitative research method used is by interview, observation, literature study, study competitors, STP studies, and SWOT, which is important in determining the design concept of the study. From the results of the data analysis, the concept of which was obtained was nationalist. Said nationalist taken to create a sense of pride in one of Indonesia's cultural arts. This concept will be used as reference in design, both of illustration, the delivery of the message. Because who else is going to continue and maintain the art if not the next generation, which can trigger the awareness to recognize and preserve our culture. So this jaranan illustrated book with the vector technique is expected to be one of the media that the introduction to children.Keywords: Books Jaranan Kediri, Cartoon Illustration, Preserving Local Culture, Nationalist.

Abstract

Traditional snacks currently almost alienated and less attractive to Surabaya residents, especially the children because of the emergence of a wide range of modern snacks. This happens because of  lack of awareness of  local people to appreciate and preserve the genuine products from the area of Surabaya. Traditional snacks including one culture that must be preserved, therefore the purpose of this research is to design book character illustration of traditional snacks Surabaya to improve a child's interest in local products. Traditional snacks are part of the culture of each city in Indonesia where the snacks are. In the midst of modern meal in Surabaya, which serves a variety of selection, Surabaya typical traditional snacks began to be forgotten among the children. From the analysis of these data, obtained keyword "primary" (main). The main concept can also be interpreted as the most prominent of the rival, through the selection of colorful designs that are expected to be more prominent traditional snacks of modern snacks (snack) or other snacks are more popular today. Children disinterest towards local products due to the lack of recognition of traditional snacks to them. Traditional snacks is also a cultural diversity depends on the region of origin. Currently traditional snacks has been a loss of identity or less popular among children. Abstract

The development of household appliances industry, especially the kitchen equipment in Indonesia can be said is not comparable with the development of the culinary industry very rapidly in Indonesia, which until now, according to the Ministry of Industry of the Republic of Indonesia, the food and beverage industry grew by 13% or approximately Rp. 390 Trillion per year (http://www.kemenperin.go.id:04/03/2016) One of the producers of cookware that has existed since 1998, Prima Boga made products, especially pan kitchen equipment that can be said the main component in cooking in some countries in southeast Asia such as Vietnam, China and Indonesia and markets its products in various cities in Indonesia, one of Surabaya. Although it has long stood as a manufacturer of kitchen appliances in Indonesia with an extensive distribution chain, the public is not fully aware of the existence and reputation of the company. Abstract

The purpose of designing ads Submarine Monument explainer video with 2D animation techniques to introduce Submarine Monument and develop awareness of the history of Surabaya. Design explainer video ads using qualitative data collection methods, namely by interview, observation, documentation studies, existing studies and literature studies are very important for determining the design concept of the study. From the analysis of these data, the theme of the design concept derived is great. The concept of "Great" is aimed at realizing the potential - the potential contained in the Submarine Monument as a tourist attraction that is entertaining and there are facilities that are useful and add insight about the maritime history of Indonesia. Abstract

conducted using qualitative research methods, namely by doing interviews, observation, documentation, library and study to get the data used as the supporter of the creation of the concept design of rebranding. The data were analyzed by using multiple stages, namely the reduction of the data, the presentation of data and conclusions. rom the analysis of the data found few keyword refers to the communication strategy rebranding which will be used to achieve the intended targets of the audians. After analysis of the data, the concept of virtue or keyword design of rebranding of "Smart". The description of the concept is smart thinking and the nature of the child that shows intelligence. The concept of "Smart" aims to show that the Zoo in Surabaya was the tour has the identity pndidikan, ex-situ, research and recreation. The concept of smart aims to convey the identity of Surabaya Zoo to the tourists to pay a visit to the place that is capable of offering entertainment and education for children. Abstract

Miners Sulfur is a very hard job even their health is at stake to have the purse - purse rupiah. Sulfur miners life is inversely proportional to the abundance of natural resources which should make life more prosperous miners. Wages are not appropriate to make the miners live in poverty, as the backbone of the family who is obliged to make a living, can cause health problems and even death. It was all a picture of life sulfur miners. The lack of public concern to the mining of sulfur makes the sulfur miners living with difficulty and hard work. Therefore, this study aims to create a book of essays photography Sulfur Miners To Illustrating Rural Community Livelihoods Paltuding. Creation of this photography book essay using qualitative data collection methods, namely by interview, observation, documentation studies, literature studies, study competitors are very important to determine the design concept of the study. Abstract

The purpose of this Kampoeng Batik Jetis Sidoarjo design branding is to preserve the product of local culture. The research is done with qualitative method research namely with take interview, observation, documentation, and literature to get the data that used as supports maker design concept branding. The data were analyzed with using several phase, that is data reduction, data presentation, and conclusion. From the data analysis were found several keyword that is refer to communication branding strategy which has using to get the goals on target audience. After do the analyze towards data, is founding a concept or keyword of design branding that is “Survival”. Concept description of Survival is a manifestation of struggle to survive the onslaught of all globalization of all. In this case “Survival” or struggle to survive is directed at how to maintain the product of local culture traditional batik tulis Kampoeng Batik Jetis Sidoarjo are packed contemporary. The goals of package design contemporarly is to stay guard the local culture traditional batik tulis product in globalization era are demanded a fast paced, interest, and modern on global public at this time. The result of this branding design is to preserve local culture batik Jetis products.

Abstract

The goal of this media promotion design is to increase tourist attraction against the potential of plengkung beach. This media promotion design using qualitative method researchfor determining the design concept. Collecting data obtained through observation in order to determine the appropriate media selection for the application, the interview in order to obtain detailed information from competent sources, the literature in order to obtain the literature to support the design, and documentation in order for the material design.Through analysis of collected data was found one big idea for theme design. Big idea is a unforgetable sensation, this big idea describe the adventure on plengkung beach and word sensation in this big idea is a adventure sensation.Then, after big idea was found, design was created and followed by the manufacture of promotional media.Results of this media promotion design expected to help increase tourist attraction on plengkung beach.
