Abstract

ABSTRACTEFFECT OF PROMOTIONAL MIX TO THE PURCHASING DECISIONS OF YAMAHA MOTORCYCLE IN JEBRES SURAKARTA. The purposes of this study are (1) the effect of advertising to the purchasing decisions of Yamaha motorcycles; (2) determine the influence of personal selling to the purchasing decisions of Yamaha motorcycles; (3) determine the effect of publicity to the purchasing decision of Yamaha motorcycle; (4) the effect of sales promotions to the purchasing decision of Yamaha motorcycle; (5) determine the together effect of promotional mix that consisting of advertising, personal selling, publicity, and sales promotion to the purchasing decision of Yamaha motorcycle. The method used in this research is quantitative descriptive method. In this study, the number of samples was determined by eighty respondents. Tryout conducted on forty respondents in the inside and outside of the population. The data analysis technique used is the multiple linear regression. The data used in this research is a primary data obtained by questionnaire. Prerequisite test analysis used in this research include: normality, multicollinearity, heterokedastisitas, autocorrelation, and linearity. Hypothesis testing used multiple regression analysis, F test, t test, and the coefficient of determination. Based on the results of this study concluded that (1) there is effect of promotional mix to the purchasing decision of Yamaha motorcycle. (2) Advertising and publicity variables have partial effect on the purchasing decision of Yamaha motorcycles. While the personal selling and sales promotion variables have not partially influence purchasing decisions of Yamaha motorcycles. (3) 37.4% of purchasing decisions of Yamaha motorcycle are influenced by advertising, personal selling, publicity, and sales promotion, while the rest is influenced by other factors. Abstract

Tujuan melaksanakan kebijakan Kurikulum Tingkat Satuan Pendidikan (KTSP) adalah untuk mewujudkan kurikulum yang sesuai dengan kekhasan (karakteristik), kondisi, potensi daerah, kebutuhan dan permasalahan daerah, satuan pendidikan dan peserta didik, dengan mengacu pada standar nasional yang tercantum dalam Standar Isi (SI) dan Standar Kompetensi Lulusan (SKL) serta panduan penyusunan KTSP. Sebelum melaksanakan KTSP dalam pembelajaran, semua pihak yang terlibat langsung dalam pembelajaran terutama guru, kepala sekolah dan pengawas harus benar-benar (1) memiliki komitmen, (2) memahami KTSP secara benar, (3) memiliki dokumen pendukung yang diperlukan, dan (4) mampu melaksanakannya dalam pembelajaran sehingga harapan untuk melihat proses pembelajaran yang baik dan efektif bukan hanya merupakan slogan belaka, tetapi benar-benar menjadi suatu kenyataan.

Abstract

This article tries to describe the reinterpretation of  the Islamic spirituality in contemporary era. The writer explores the short history in sufism as a source of  Islamic spirituality. He also wants to explore how to interprete the sufism as a product of  history. From its history, we can know the development of  sufisme period to period. In other hand, we can also reinterprete the meaning of  Islamic spirituality in the contemporary civilization or modernism point of  view. For example, we can know how to reinterprete the concept o f  “wahdat al-wujud” and “wahdat al-adyan” as a main part of  spirituality in Islam. This reinterpretation is expected to contribute the moral ethic or spirituality in contemporary era.

Abstract

This research aims to know (1) interrelatedness between learning within Kurikulum 2013 implementation and Creative Problem Solving (CPS) model with Probing-Prompting technique; (2) the effectiveness of learning process in economic subject using CPS model with Probing-Prompting technique; and (3) the effectiveness of CPS learning model with Probing-Prompting technique toward increase students’ economic learning outcomes in SMA Negeri 5 Surakarta. This research used experimental method with the Solomon four groups design.. Sample of the research selected with cluster random sampling. Data were collected by questionairre, obvervation and test for the data of students cognitive-ability. These data were analyzed with t-test in level of significance 0,05. Based on the research obtained conclusions (1) there were interrelatedness between learning within Kurikulum 2013 implementation and Creative Problem Solving (CPS) learning model with Probing-Prompting technique; (2) learning processes in economic subject using CPS model with Probing-Prompting technique were effective; and (3) CPS learning model with Probing-Prompting was effective toward increase students’ economic learning outcomes. There were significance difference between the mean of posttest scores fom experimental groups and controll groups (Sig.(2-tailed) =  0,00<0,05) and there was no testing effect that influenced the students’ economic learning outcomes (sig. value of mean comparison of each groups >0,05).

Abstract

This article tries to trace al-Ghazali’s thought on Sufism. According to the writer, for al-Ghazali, Sufism is a final choice and the last way in his life. Before studying Sufism, al-Ghazali has studied many kinds of Islamic knowledge such as kalam, Fiqh, batiniah etc. But all of them could not satisfy his intellectual needs. Finally, he studies the Sufism seriously, that he claimed as the most ultimate truth. Awakening of al-Ghazali’s Sufism is because of by some historical backgrounds (historical settings). In his life, Syi’ah and Sunni want to dominate each other in ideology and Islamic discourses. The position of al-Ghazali’s thought is in Ahl Sunnah and to defend their teachings. For this reason, to study and to explore al-Ghazali’s Sufism, we must conduct historical deconstructions. To actualize al-Ghazali’s thought on Sufism, we can study multidisciplinary approach, a new methodology and epistemology that relating to modernity.

Abstract

Learning technologies is necessary in the learning process, because it can spread the information widely, evenly, fast, uniform and integrated so that the message can be delivered in accordance with the content in question. Technology can be a medium for faculty in order to realize the learning process that is effective, efficient, and productive in accordance with the needs and demands of students. This study aimed to determine differences in learning achievement Micro Economics course student of Economics Faculty of Teacher Education UNLAM seen from the use of multimedia, learning styles and learning motivation of students.The research method used was a 2x3x2 factorial quasi-experimental. This research makes the entire population as the entire population of students taking courses in Micro Economics odd semester 2012/2013 as respondents, amounting to 72 students. Data collection using tests, questionnaires and documentation. Data were analyzed using three-way ANOVA analysis.Conclusions derived from this research are: 1) there are differences in learning achievement of students who use the Micro Economic multimedia with conventional media, 2) there are differences in student achievement visual, auditory and kinesthetic, 3) there are differences in student achievement Micro Economics Economics Education courses FKIP UNLAM that have high and low motivation, 4) there is an interaction effect between the use of multimedia to the type of student learning styles, 5) there is no interaction effect between the use of multimedia on the level of student motivation, 6) there is an interaction effect between type of learning style with the level of student motivation, and 7) there is no effect of the interaction effect of the use of multimedia, learning style type, and level of student motivation to learn.

Abstract

This research aims 1) the effect of productive subject mastery and industrial work practice toward working readiness; 2) the effect of productive subject mastery toward working readiness; 3) the effect of industrial work practice toward working readiness. This research uses descriptive quantitative. The population of research is the student of XI grade of SMK Kristen Surakarta with 125 students. The sample research is 56 students uses proportional random sampling. The technique of collecting data through questionnaire, and documentation. The research also uses multiple linear regression analysis as the technique of analyzing data. The results showed; 1) there is effect of productive subject mastery and industrial work practice toward working readiness of 29,4%; 2) there is effect of productive subject mastery toward working readiness of 13,69%; 3) there is effect of industrial work practice toward working readiness of 16,65%.

Abstract

The research aims to know: (1) partial influence of learning readiness and audio visual media on the learning outcomes of the students in X grade of SMA Negeri 3 Surakarta and SMA Al Islam 1 Surakarta, (2) simultan influence of learning readiness and audio visual media on the learning outcomes of the students in X grade of SMA Negeri 3 Surakarta and SMA Al Islam 1 Surakarta (3) the difference of influence of learning readiness and audio visual media on economic learning outcomes of the student in X grade of SMA Negeri 3 Surakarta and SMA Al Islam 1 Surakarta. The population is all students of X grade who get economic subjects in SMA Negeri 3 Surakarta. The total of the students are 351 students with 78 students as a sample and SMA Al Islam 1 Surakarta with 177 students choose 64 students as a sample. The instrument to collect data on this research is a questionnaire and data analysis device is SmartPLS Version 2.0 M3.Based on the effective contribution partial influence of learning readiness to learning outcomes in SMA Negeri 3 Surakarta with value 33,70%  is higher than SMA Al Islam 1 Surakarta with value 22,47%. Meanwhile the influence of audio visual media on learning outcomes in SMA Al Islam 1 Surakarta with value 9,63% is higher than SMA Negeri 3 Surakarta with value 8,99%. The simultaneous effect of learning readiness and audio visual media on the learning outcomes of the student in SMA Negeri 3 Surakarta was 42,7% compared to SMA Al Islam 1 Surakarta with value 32,1%. Therefore, there are the differences of influence in both partially and simultaneously the influence of the learning readiness and audio visual media on economic learning outcomes of the students in X grade of SMA Negeri 3 Surakarta and SMA Al Islam 1 Surakarta.

Abstract

Latar belakang: guru merupakan komponen utama dalam implementasi kurikulum tingkat satuan pendidikan, oleh karena itu dibutuhkan guru yang berkompeten untuk mengaplikasikannya, akan tetapi KTSP merupakan hal yang baru bagi sebagian guru, sehingga kesulitan untuk menerapkannya. Sehingga kompetensi guru perlu dikaji untuk mengetahui realita dilapangan dan bisa dilakukan evaluasi serta perbaikan untuk kedepannya.Metode: penelitian kualitatif berbentuk deskriptif. Strategi penelitian yaitu strategi tunggal terpancang. Sumber data meliputi informan, kata-kata atau tindakan, tempat dan peristiwa serta dokumen. Teknik sampling yaitu purposive sampling dan teknik snowball sampling. Teknik pengumpulan data yaitu wawancara, observasi dan analisis dokumen. Validitas data menggunakan teknik triangulasi sumber dan triangulasi metodologis. Sedangkan teknik analisis data adalah teknik analisis interaktif.Hasil penelitian: sosialisasi dilapangan masih kurang sehingga pemahaman guru tentang KTSP minim, kompetensi pedagogik, kepribadian, sosial dan profesional guru secara keseluruhan sudah memenuhi. Akan tetapi ada beberapa aspek yang masih kurang seperti pemahaman karakter siswa, kedisiplinan guru, penguasaan IT, dan relevansi pendidikan.

Abstract

Background: The learning model that applied on the economic subject in the WARGA High School of Surakarta nowadays much emphasizes on the conventional learning model, then the problems is the low of student learning motivation and memory capacity that has the effect on the bad result of student a chievement, that is just 47% of 155 social students in XI Grade of WARGA High School of Surakarta above the passing grade. By using the cooperative learning model of Jigsaw type, it is expected the result of student a chievement on economic subject matter will be improved. This research is aimed to know the influence of cooperative learning model of Jigsaw type on the increasing of student learning motivation, memory capacity and the result of student achievement on economic subject matter.Subjects and Methods: This research was a classroom action research that conducted in the two cycles and each cycle consisted of planning, implementation, monitoring and reflection. The subjects of research were 155 students of first semester in XI Grade of social class WARGA High School of Surakarta. The data sources were the student, venue and the phenomenon of learning process and documentation. The method of data collection were questionnaire, observation and interview. The validation of data was internal validation. The data analysis was qualitative analysis.Results: The result of research shows that before using the cooperative learning model of jigsaw type, the student learning motivation is just about 43.0, that means the number of students that achieve the passing grade are 15 students or 41.67% of classical completeness. In the I cycle the average score is increased becomes 53.4 with the number of students that achieve the passing grade are 23 students or 63.89% of the classical completeness. It is continued in the II cycle in which the decided target of the researcher is passed over by the average score is 56.0 by the classical completeness of 83.33%, that means 30 students of 36 have the high motivation. The beginning memory capacity of students is 50.08 by the classical completeness is 50.00%, those are 18 students. In the I cycle the score is improved to be 57.08 by the classical completeness is 69.44%, those are 25 students. In the II cycle, the score becomes 60 and the classical completeness is 80.56%, those are 29 students. The earlier result of study in the XI grade social class with the passing grade of 70.0 just has the score of 62 with the classical completeness of 44.00%. In the I cycle, the result of study gets the classical completeness of 63.0% with the average score is 73. In the II cycle, the target is overcome, in which the result is 80 with the classical completeness of 80.09%.
