Abstract

Abstract The porpuse of  make comic is: (1) Giving message to publicsher about adoselent problem because the drug usely. (2) Train for making a comic which the do it among scenario of reality and imajinasition. (3) Giving a referensition about visual communication like a comic.To make this last project real were some proses, its are: First Starter, looking for  art ideas  from referensition about adoselent’s  problems. Second Elaboration, data analisist. Third Sintetion, make a schedule from this last project. Four  Consep realization, make a skenario. Fife Finishing, continue the scenario to become a comic works. The description of this last project is Ben and Bun are comic which up to date about adoselent problems in drug usesly case and circle with drug user etc which are 28 page and make with comedy  inside it. Abstract

IMPLEMENTASI DISCOVERY LEARNING PADA PEMBELAJARAN SENI BUDAYA BIDANG SENI RUPA:  EKSPERIMEN PADA SISWA KELAS VII SLTPAbstractThe aim of this research was to find out the effect of using discovery learning strategy on the students’ performance in the Arts and Culture subject at SMPN 18 Padang. It was a quasi-experimental research which applied Pretest- Posttest Control Group Design. The population of this research were all students registered in the first semester in the academic year 2014/2015, and the samples were chosen purposively (purposive sampling). The source of the data was the written test administered to the students. The data obtained then were analyzed statistically. The test consisted of multiple choice questions on theories of arts and culture. T-test was used to prove the hypothesis of this research. The finding of the research showed that the students taught by using discovery learning strategy performed better than those taught by using conventional teaching strategy. Keywords: discovery learning strategy, arts and culture, learning resultsabstrakTujuan dari penelitian ini adalah untuk mengetahui pengaruh penggunaan discovery learning strategy terhadap kinerja siswa pada mata pelajaran Seni Rupa dan Budaya di SMPN 18 Padang. Ini adalah penelitian kuasi-eksperimental yang menerapkan Pretest-Posttest Control Group Design. Populasi penelitian ini adalah seluruh siswa yang terdaftar pada semester pertama tahun akademik 2014/2015, dan sampelnya dipilih secara purposive (purposive sampling). Sumber data adalah tes tertulis yang diberikan kepada siswa. Data yang diperoleh kemudian dianalisis secara statistik. Tes terdiri dari pertanyaan pilihan ganda tentang teori seni dan budaya. T-test digunakan untuk membuktikan hipotesis penelitian ini. Temuan penelitian menunjukkan bahwa siswa yang diajar dengan menggunakan strategi pembelajaran penemuan dilakukan lebih baik daripada yang diajarkan dengan menggunakan strategi pengajaran konvensional.Kata kunci: strategi pembelajaran penemuan, seni dan budaya, Hasil belajar

Abstract

Crafting in junior high school consists of some learning materials such as handcrafting, processing, engineering, and cultivating. The learning material that must be given junior high school students in Bukittinggi is crafting because it is appropriate with the conditions of the area that is close to the centers of handicrafts. In fact, the problem found from the observation was that the teachers generally (82,73%) are not from the art and craft education. The teachers who are from art or craft education will be easier to teach crafts than those who are not. Those who are not from art education got problems in the implementation of craft learning materials. It was happened because they did not master or did not have enough experience about it. Moreover, the junior high school teachers also lacked of learning strategies that are in line with the demands of the 2013 curriculum. As a result, the implementation of craft learning, especially craft materials, did not run well. The solution offered to solve the above-mentioned problems was the application of science and technology with several approaches; 1) designing, 2) counseling by presenting training material, 3) training in crafting and designing learning strategies, and 4) mentoring. The results of this activity were; 1) Most of junior high school teachers (77.77%) have mastered the craft materials given, especially makrame and woven crafts, 2) Most of them (88.88%) have mastered learning strategies that are in line with scientific approaches in the 2013 Curriculum. Keywords: Increasing teachers’ ability, craft learning, craft learning materials, learning strategies in 2013 curriculum
