Abstract

Agricultural Product (both of raw material and intermediate good/ food)  has limited durability before perish process. It relates with physicalcharacter of them, different with  physical character of industrial product.The physical character  are perishable , bulky, and voluminous. Onealternative that could be done, for  fresh and good product when it is givento consumer is packing. Type of packing materials  e g :  plastic, glass,paper, and styrofoam. There are many packing technique : common,vacuum and press. From permeability calculation, is known if bahwa permeability of  polypropylen plastic is bigger than polyethylen plastic. It isdeviation, because of polypropylene  permeability must be lower thanpolyethylene. For application test on water spinach,  permeability ofpolypropylen plastic is lower than polyethylen. The different ofPermeability on polypropylen and  polyethylen packing impacts on weight,color, and texture of water spinach leaf. Abstract

Proses pengolahan yang baik dan benar dapat membuat ikan menjadi awet dan memungkinkan untuk didistribusikan antar daerah. Pengasapan danpemanggangan merupakan salah satu proses pengolahan ikan secara tradisional.Pengolahan tradisional masih mempunyai prospek untuk dikembangkan sebagaialternatif memeratakan distribusi antar daerah penghasil dengan daerahkonsumen. Hasil uji kesukaan menunjukkan jika hasil olahan pengasapan lebihdisukai daripada hasil olahan pemanggangan.Kata Kunci : Pengawetan, Pengasapan, Pemanggangan

Abstract

Middle and small industry development in Central Java veryneeded in supporting economics. Seen potency had by Central Java like :demography, infrastructure, job generation/human resource, developedcompetent middle and small industry, more than anything else small andmiddle industry in agricultural sector. Because effort in agriculturalsector have some its, is more can stay at condition of economic crisis, canpermeate big labour relative, and its role in forming of domestic earningsof bruto. Abstract

Food materials as elementary requirement, these are the source of human being body nutrient. But in food materials, this way natur and alsomicrobe contaminate, many there are poisonous compound. Go together foodand availability, many case which have emerged concern poisoning of food andugly nutrient case. Lower of society attention to food security result casepoisoning of food in Indonesia often happen. The return applying of expectedorganic agriculture system can depress case number poisoning of food, besidethere are other advantage which can be obtained by like; decreasing of itenvironmental contamination, the return of ground fertility cycle, etc. Besidescentral government, relevant institutes like Department Agriculture,Departmental of Oceaninc And Fishery, of Industry and Commerce, Localgovernment, Body POM; they have claimed to always to share and also ingiving construction, counselling, monitoring and inspection circulation of foodmaterials. Abstract

Global crisis in 2008, there was a proud in economic development,because informal sector oppositely grow rapidly. Data from Statistic bureaumention  that the increasing grew faster,  became 47,7 million in 2007period. The problem was financing. BMT Mu@malat as the one of nonbanking financial institution is under hierarchy of Kota SemarangCooperation Department, it was stated under Wahid Hasyim Universityarea. The research was meant to know about contribution of creditassessment to brutto income and what’s the influence factor after this. Therespondent was  Marginal Sector client. Result from this was the assessmentof BMT Mu@malat gave contribution of brutto income of  9,07 % permonth, function and the existence was needed to support of peopleeconomy.

Abstract

Forage quality and are available continuously throughout the year is one important factor in the development of animal husbandry.   The potential is quite abundeant corn corp has not been optimally utilized as livestock feed.  The weakness of corn cobs as feed is a high fiber content (35 – 45%) and low protein levels (1,8 – 3,5%).  Amoniasi fermentation (Amofer) is one way of improving the quality of high-fiber feed ingredients are quite powerful.  The purpose of this study was to assess the effect of curing time on the fermentation process using biostarter (Biofad) on a cob of corn that had previously been amoniasi with high temperature (70°C) on the proximate content.  The results of proximate analysis of corn cobs with amofer treatment showed increased levels of crude protein and highest in long curing 2 weeks (34,20%), crude fat content (2,29%) higher than the fat content of coarse corn cobs controls (1,86%), crude fiber content of 25,43% on average much lower than control levels of crude fiber (34,78%), ash content increased significantly (3,11%  -  4,15%) and the average levels BETN 36,45% lower than the control corn cob (57,50%).  Old curing 2 weeks in the fermentation process gives the best result, because it has the highest protein content and low crude fiber and have long curing the fastest time. Abstract

Penelitian ini bertujuan untuk menganalisis tingkat ketahanan pangan tingkat rumah tangga pengolah gula merah aren di beberapa sentra pengolahan gula merah aren di Kabupaten Kendal. Menggunakan Jonsson and Toole Model, hasil penelitian menunjukkan bahwa tingkat Pangsa Pengeluaran Pangan (PPP) rumah tangga pengolah gula merah aren yang terendah berada di daerah Kecamatan Sukorejo dan tertinggi di Kecamatan Limbangan. Sementara Angka Kecukupan Energi (PPP) tertinggi juga berada di Kecamatan Sukorejo dan tingkat ketahanan pangan rumah tangga pengolah gula merah aren yang paling tahan pangan berada di Kecamatan Sukorejo. Sementara untuk mengetahui faktor yang mempengaruhi permintaan beras oleh rumah tangga pengolah gula merah aren di Kabupaten Kendal dengan menggunakan analisis regresi linear berganda. Faktor yang  mempengaruhi adalah harga telur dan jumlah anggota keluarga. Kata Kunci : Beras, Harga, Konsumsi, Pangsa Pengeluaran Pangan.

Abstract

Plantation agriculture is one sector that developed in Indonesia. One crop that a commodity is coffee. Limbangan District is one coffee producer in Kendal Regency.  The research was done to study the level of coffee farmer’s income and to study the factors that influence the coffee farmers income in Limbangan District Kendal Regency. Study using Stratified random sampling method. The results from data processing coffee farmers income each season (one year) is Rp. 4.660.636,67. A income acquiring from revenue less total cost, the mean cost are fixed cost (tax and decrise equipment) and variabel cost (labour and fertilizer cost). Simultaneous testing at significance level (α) = 5% indicates that the land area, production, costs of production, and education significant effect on the coffee farmers income in Limbangan District Kendal Regency. The effect of four variables on coffee farmers income indicated with R Square = 0.933,  which means that income influenced by land area, labor, cost of production, production, experience, age, and education are 93.3 percent and 6.7 percent are affected by other variables not included in the model. The t-test results of the variable land area, production, costs of production, and education partially significant effect on the coffee farmers income in Limbangan District Kendal Regency. A farmer expected be maximal a factors obvious influential in order that income increasing.   Keywords: Coffea, costs, income, land area, production.

Abstract

This research aimed (1) to calculate the income and the profit of corn processing home industry (2) to determine the amount of added value of corn processing home industry as marning and corn chips in Grobogan District. This research covered analysis methods several including, the income and the profit analysis, and the added value Analysis according Hayami, et.al. (1987). The results showed that the average monthly total revenue for corn processing production into corn chip Rp.5.264.225 with total cost Rp. 4.531.532,- so that it can be seen that the average profit earned by entrepreneur is Rp.732.692. Corn processing into marning, the average monthly total revenue production of Rp.5.583.888 with total cost of Rp. 5.139.657,- so that it can be seen that the average profit obtained entrepreneur is Rp. 444,285. The added value of processing corn into chips is Rp. 4.574 per kilogram and for marning Rp. 2.823 per kilogram.   Key words: added value, corn processing home industry, income.

Abstract

The rapid population growth in rural areas led to increasing competition in obtaining employment. While on one hand meet the life needs in general and families in particular is increasing. This situation encourages women to entry for work as a rubber tapper in PTPN IX Balong Garden Beji Kalitelo. In this conditions women's tasks become increasingly a heavy that women have a three fold responsibility, in addition to acting as a housewife and social also act as a earner families. Study aims: 1) to know the allocation of time devoted women as breadwinners, take a rest, housewives and socially; 2) to know the factors that affect women's earnings rubber plantation workers; 3) to know how much the contribution of women rubber plantation workers of family income. Totally there are 80 samples of 565 population. The method which is used in this research is descriptive analysis method and an encode for processing use regression bifilar method. The results showed that the allocation of time to a living searching is the biggest allocation that is 9 hours a day with a percentage of 37,5 percent compared to other activities. Based on regression analysis revealed that work period factors, the results of rubber tapping and years of planting, significantly affect women's rubber tappers labor income. And an average contribution of women workers of the rubber tapper to the family income is 54,25 percent. Keywords: Contribution, family income, women workers.
