Abstract

Tujuan penelitian ini ialah ditemukannya model bimbingan karier di perguruan tinggi melalui pemberian life skills dan link and match untuk mewujudkan masa tunggu pendek mahasiswa dalam memperoleh pekerjaan. Penelitian ini termasuk penelitian dan pengembangan. Populasi penelitian ini adalah seluruh mahasiswa Universitas Sebelas Maret. Sampel penelitian adalah mahasiswa Program Studi Bimbingan dan Konseling FKIP, Teknik Informatika F.MIPA, dan Bahasa Indonesia F. Sastra dan Seni UNS. Jumlah sampel 134 orang responden. Instrumen yang digunakan sebagai pengumpul data adalah interview dan kuesioner. Analisis data menggunakan persentase dan teknik interaktif mengalir (mixed methods). Hasil analisis persentase dari sejumlah 134 subjek sampel yang bekerja sebelum bimbingan 10 orang mahasiswa (7,46%) dan sesudah pemberian bimbingan karier sejumlah 73 (54,5 %). Hal ini menunjukkan bahwa bimbingan karier melalui pemberian life skills dan link and match sangat berpengaruh dan efektif untuk membantu mahasiswa segera memperoleh pekerjaan dengan masa tunggu pendek setelah lulus.

Abstract

Purpose-Assertive communication skill is the ability to express feelings and thoughts clearly and honestly without offending others.Students’ behavior such as being afraid of disappointing others,  liked or accepted, or hurting someone else’s feeling make students difficult to express their thoughts and feelings. This research aims to enhance students´ skills in assertive communication. Method-This research applied Research and Development approach.The sample of this study were of20 students of grade XI IPA 3 SMA Al Islam 1 Surakarta. The subjects wereselected purposively from 40 students with low average scores of assertive communication skills. Findings-From the results of pretest-posttest, the students´ assertive communication skills improved. It was indicated by the results of quantitative analysis by Mann-Whitney U test showing the z values -2.981 and probability (p) 0.003 (α <0.05) and Wilcoxon T test showing the z values ​​-3.922 and probability (p) 0.000 (α <0.05). It meant that Assertivensess Training was effective to enhance students´ assertive communication skills.   Keywords : Assertiveness Training, Assertive Communication Skills

Abstract

The objectives of this research are: 1) to describe the reasons why social science learning based on the noble values of Ki Hajar Dewantaras teaching is effective to strengthen the students character; 2) to describe the effectiveness of social science learning based on the noble values of Ki Hajar Dewantaras teaching in to strengthen the students character; 3) to compare the effectiveness of the enhancement of the students character of social science learning through the noble values of Ki Hajar Dewantaras teaching and conventional social science learning. This research used the mixed methods. The population was the students in Grade VIII of State Junior Secondary Schools in Solo Raya and its vicinity which encompasses Surakarta City, Boyolali Regency, Sukoharjo, Karanganyar, Wonogiri, Sragen, and Klaten. The data were collected through (1) test, (2) questionnaire, (3) in-depth interview, (4) observation, and (5) documentation. The data were analyzed by using the difference test. The results of research are as follows: 1) the reasons why social science learning process based on the noble values of Ki Hajar Dewantaras teaching is effective to strengthen the students character 2) Social science learning based on the noble values of Ki Hajar Dewantaras teaching is more effective in strengthen the students understanding of character education, and it is more effective than the conventional learning as indicated by the results of the difference test.

Abstract

This research aims to know the effectiveness of reality counseling with WDEP to improve Junior High School students achievement motivation and its impact on learning achievement. This experimental research used nonequivalent control group design. This research uses achievement motivation scale as the data collecting method. This achievement motivation scale is used to know the student achievement motivation. The subject of this research are VIII grade students of Junior High School in Boyolali who hadlowest achievement motivation. In effort to find this relevant subject, the research uses purpossive sampling technique. In addiction to analyze this subject, this research uses Mann Whitney test and Wilcoxon test as its data analysis techniques. The result of this research shows that significant gain score difference between experimental group and control group (p value=0,025 (0,025< 0,05). The achievement motivation scores of the experimental group are significantly increased more than the control group.

Abstract

This research was Research and Development which produced a teachers? guides that is worthy and effective as the development of guidance material on self confidence to enhance the self leadership of fifth grade student of elementary school. Results of the analysis expert-practitioners examination showed that the guidance material were proved in good categories. The results of these examination are supported by a small group of examination results which indicated a high acceptability. Results of examination trial product on limited subject showed that the hypothesis was proven. The conclusions of this study is the implementation of the guidance about self confidence is deveserves and effective to enhance self leadership of the elementary school student.

Abstract

The purpose of this study were to produce career guidance modules and effective to enhance self concept and career decision of? Vocational Students. This research were research and development which produce career guidance module to enhance self concept and career decision of Vocational Students. In order to know the effectivity of modul using One Group Pretest Posttest Design. Based on the result of expert?s judgement, practitioners judgement and data analysis of research subject can be known that career guidance module is suitable and effective to enchance self concept and career decision. It was proved from the expert judgement and practitioners judgement evaluation toward module have average score 89, it means that module has very good criteria. In the effectiveness test, based on t-tes was known that p value 0,000. It means that the Ha is accepted and Ho is rejected. The conclusion from this research was the implementation of career guidance module is suitable and effective to enchance self concept and career decisions of vocational students.Tujuan dari penelitian ini adalah untuk menghasilkan modul bimbingan karir yang layak dan efektif untuk meningkatkan konsep diri dan keputusan karir siswa SMK. Penelitian ini merupakan penelitian pengembangan yang menghasilkan modul bimbingan karir untuk meningkatkan konsep diri dan keputusan karir siswa SMK. Selanjutnya untuk mengetahui efektivitas modul bimbingan karir menggunakan teknik One Group Pretest ? Posttest Design. Berdasarkan hasil uji ahli, uji praktisi dan analisis data subjek penelitian dapat diketahui bahwa modul bimbingan karir untuk meningkatkan konsep diri dan keputusan karir siswa SMK dinyatakan layak dan efektif untuk meningkatkan konsep diri dan keputusan karir siswa. Terbukti dari penilaian ahli dan praktisi terhadap modul memiliki nilai rata-rata 89, yang berarti modul memiliki kriteria sangat baik. Dalam uji efektivitas, berdasarkan uji t diketahui nilai signifikansi adalah 0,000 yang berarti bahwa hipotesis alternatif (Ha) diterima dan hipotesis nihil (Ho) ditolak. Simpulan dari penelitian ini adalah implementasi modul bimbingan karir layak dan efektif untuk meningkatkan konsep diri dan keputusan karir siswa SMK.

Abstract

The purpose of this research was to produce social guidance module which was feasible to implement and effective to enchance the character of fifth grade students of elementary school. This research was a research and development which produced social guidance module on moral intelligence to enchance the character of the fifth grade students of elementary school. The next was to investigate the effectiveness of the social guidance module on moral intelligence to enchane the character of the fifth grade students of elementary school by using one group pretest posttest experimental design. Based on the expert and practitioner tests, it was found that social guidance module on moral intelligence to enchance character was proven to be feasible and effective to enchance character. It was proved from the expert and practitioner research on the module which was in good category. The conclusion of this research was that the implementation of social guidance module on moral intelligence was feasible and effective to enchance the character of the fifth grade students of elementary school in Banjarsari Sub-district.Tujuan penelitian ini adalah untuk menghasilkan modul bimbingan sosial yang layak untuk diimplementasikan dan efektif untuk meningkatkan budi pekerti siswa kelas V SD. Penelitian ini merupakan penelitian pengembangan (Research and Development) yang menghasilkan modul bimbingan sosial tentang kecerdasan moral untuk meningkatkan budi pekerti bagi siswa kelas V SD. Selanjutnya, untuk mengetahui efektivitas modul bimbingan sosial tentang kecerdasan moral untuk meningkatkan budi pekerti siswa SD menggunakan desain eksperimen One group pretest posttest design. Berdasarkan hasil uji ahli dan uji praktisi, dapat diketahui bahwa modul bimbingan sosial tentang kecerdasan moral untuk meningkatkan budi pekerti dinyatakan layak dan efektif untuk meningkatkan budi pekerti. Hal ini terbukti dari penilaian ahli dan praktisi terhadap modul berada pada kategori baik. Simpulan penelitian ini adalah implementasi modul bimbingan sosial tentang kecerdasan moral layak dan efektif untuk meningkatkan budi pekerti siswa kelas V SD di kecamatan Banjarsari.?

Abstract

The purpose of this research was to improve students? self-efficacy through the module of psychodrama technique. This study used research and development approach. Based on the results of preliminary research which the field study and literature study, the researcher developed a product in the form of a module implementation of psychodrama technique to improve students? self-efficacy. The products, which have been produced were rationally tested by experts and practitioners. The results of the assessment which was done by experts and practitioners claimed that the product was categorized good and eligible for use, with an average value of 87.7%. Products that have been declared eligible for use next tested its effectiveness.Tujuan penelitian ini adalah untuk meningkatkan efikasi diri peserta didik melalui modul implementasi teknik psikodrama. Penelitian ini menggunakan pendekatan penelitian dan pengembangan (Research and Development). Dalam pengujian efektivitas modul implementasi teknik psikodrama menggunakan pola eksperimen?randomized control-group pretest-posttest design.?Berdasarkan hasil studi lapangan dan studi kepustakaan dikembangkan sebuah produk berupa modul teknik psikodrama untuk meningkatkan efikasi diri peserta didik. Produk yang telah dihasilkan tersebut diuji secara rasional oleh ahli dan praktisi. Hasil penilaian dari ahli dan praktisi menyatakan bahwa produk dalam kategori baik atau layak untuk digunakan, dengan nilai rata-rata 87,7%. Produk yang telah dinyatakan layak untuk digunakan selanjutnya diuji keefektifannya. Hasil uji efektivitas menunjukkan adanya peningkatan nilai rata-rata sebelum dan sesudah mendapat perlakuan. Dapat disimpulkan bahwa modul implementasi teknik psikodrama efektif untuk meningkatkan efikasi diri peserta didik.

Abstract

Textbook has a strong influence on the formation of children’s attitudes and value system. Therefore, Islamic textbooks as the main learning source for Muslim children in Indonesia need to consider the gender equality. This is very important to note, because feminists often view that Islam contains teachings of gender inequality. Islam places men in the higher position, while women are placed in the lower position. For example, men can be imam for women in prayer, but women cannot be imam for men. It is easier for children to learn textbook material presented in pictures. Therefore, the pictures presented in Islamic textbooks ideally do not contain gender bias. So, a research is needed to know if there is gender bias in the pictures presented in Islamic textbooks taught to Muslim children in Indonesia. To prove it, a literary research is conducted on the Islamic textbooks taught to the first grade Muslim student of Islamic Elementary School/ Madrasah Ibtidaiyah (MI) in Indonesia which includes pictures in their teaching materials. Islamic textbooks studied in the research include Fikih, Akidah Akhlak, and Arabic textbooks. The results of this study conclude that the pictures presented in Islamic textbooks taught in Muslim children in Indonesia contain gender bias. The man favor pictures are more than those of woman favor. Based on the conclusion, this study recommends an improvement of pictures presented in Islamic textbooks taught to Muslim children in Indonesia.

Abstract

This research aimed to find out the down syndrome children’s independency using vocational skill training. The research method employed was classroom action research (CAR). The subjects of research were four children with down syndrome. Techniques of collecting data used were a documentation study, test, and observation. The data analyzed by an interactive model by comparing prior data before and after the action through 2 cycles. The result showed that the mean score of down syndrome children independency increased. The implementation of the vocational skill training in local content subject material successfully improved the down syndrome independency.
