Abstract

The purpose of study is to know nutrition of jelawat eggs, compriseprorein, fat, calcium, phospore, essential amino acid, essential fatty acid, vitamineC and vitamine E. Method applied to get the purpose is take jelawat eggshave TKG IV ( gonad stages mature) on brood stock with 4kg, and weight wet ofgonad 600 gram at Maninjau Lake. Eggs are dried and floured. The study usesproximate-analysis to get quantity of protein, fat, calcium and phospore andHPLC methode to get the essential amino acid, fatty acid and vitamine C and E.The result show that fish jelawat floured have within it nutrition protein61,33 %, fat, 11,90 %, water content 4,88 %, ashes content 8,26 %. Quantityamino acid 52,69 %, linoleat fatty acid 7,71.%, linolenat fatty acid 0,05 %,vitamine C 0,240 % and vitamine E 0,310 %.

Abstract

ABSTRACT This research aimed to obtain information of growth and survival of green catfish (Mystus nemurus) juvenile fed with bloodworms (T) and artificial diet (PB) and add with the combination of 50% soybean pulp waste and 50% freshwater trash fish. Feeding was performed in several variation of time during 40 days of fish rearing. Average body length of juvenile was 12±0.00 mm and weight 2.80±0.00 mg, maintained at a density of 30 individuals per aquarium. The treatment in this research was T10PB30 (8‒18 days old juvenile were fed with bloodworm and 18‒48 days old fish were fed with artificial diet), T20PB20 (8‒28 days old juvenile were fed with bloodworms and 28‒48 days old were fed with artificial diet), T30PB10 (8‒38 days old juvenile were fed with bloodworms and 38‒48 days old were given artificial diet), PB40 (8‒48 days old juvenile were fed artificial diet), T40 (8‒48 days old juvenile were fed with bloodworms). The results indicated that the treatment of 40 days feeding with bloodworms provided the best growth and survival as daily growth rate of 16.4±28.00 g/day, the growth of the absolute length was 43.60±0.01 mm, the absolute body weight 2047.20±35.00 mg and the survival rate was 96.44%. The best artificial feeding treatment was feeding with bloodworms for 30 days and with 10 days of artificial diet, results in daily growth rate of 4.53±0,25 mm/day, the growth of the absolute length 40.00±0.04 mm, the absolute body weight 1447.20±15.00 mg, and the survival rate 94.44±2.60%. Keywords: artificial diet, bloodworms, growth, survival, green catfish.  ABSTRAK Penelitian ini bertujuan untuk mendapatkan informasi pertumbuhan dan sintasan benih ikan baung (Mystus nemurus) dengan pemberian pakan tubifeks (T) dan pakan buatan (PB) kombinasi 50% limbah ampas tahu dan 50% ikan rucah air tawar. Pakan diberikan dengan variasi lama waktu berbeda selama pemeliharaan 40 hari. Rerata panjang awal benih adalah 12±0,00 mm dan bobot tubuh 2,80±0,00 mg, dipelihara dengan kepadatan 30 ekor per akuarium. Perlakuan dalam penelitian ini adalah T10PB30 (benih umur 8‒18 hari diberi pakan tubifeks dan umur 18‒48 hari pakan buatan), T20PB20 (benih umur 8‒28 hari diberi tubifeks dan umur 28‒48 pakan buatan), T30PB10 (benih umur 8‒38 diberi pakan tubifeks dan umur 38‒48 diberi pakan buatan), PB40 (benih umur 8‒48 hari diberi pakan buatan), T40 (benih umur 8‒48 hari diberi pakan tubifeks). Hasil penelitian ini menunjukkan bahwa perbedaan lama waktu pemberian tubifeks dan pakan buatan yang terbaik adalah pemberian pakan tubifeks selama 40 hari dengan laju pertumbuhan harian 16,4±28,00 g/hari, pertumbuhan panjang mutlak 43,60±0,01 mm, bobot mutlak 2047,20±35,00 mg, dan sintasan 96,44%. Selanjutnya variasi lama waktu pemberian pakan buatan yang terbaik adalah pemberian tubifeks selama 30 hari dan pakan buatan sepuluh hari dengan laju pertumbuhan harian sebesar 4,53±0,25 mm/hari, pertumbuhan panjang mutlak 40,00±0,04 mm, bobot mutlak 1447,20±15,00 mg, dan sintasan 94,44±2,60%. Kata kunci: pakan buatan, tubifeks, pertumbuhan, sintasan, ikan baung.

Abstract

This study was conducted at fish breeding and hatchery laboratory ofFisheries and Marine Science Faculty, University of Riau. Mature female ofselais fish used in the study were between 45-50 g body weight and male fishwere between 44-55 g body weight. Study method used in the study wasexperimental method,while data was analised by descriftive method. Theresultsof the study show that the highest percentage of fertilized eggs found on thetreatment of D0, 3W7 (fish injected with sGnRH + Domperidon 0,3 ml/kg andlaten time of 7 hours), and the highest percentage of eggs hatch was found on thetreatment of D0,5W8 and D0,7W6. However, treatment without injection withsGnRH + domperidon was no single fish was ovulated. The research method used was CompletelyRandomized Design (CDR) with three treatments and three replications. Thetreatment in this study were P1 (Tubifex sp), P2 (Shrimp pellet), P3 (Shrimp pellet+ Vitamin E).The result showed that good feed for the maturation of the gonads wasshrimp pellets + Vitamin E, total fish reached TKG IV 13 tails , index gonadsomatic 9,32 %, fecundity of 2646 eggs, egg diameter 0.70 mm. Abstract

The research was conducted in June 2014 in the Fish Hatchery and Breeding Laboratory of the Fisheries and Marine Sciences Faculty University of Riau. The research was to determine the effect of ovaprim on ovulation and egg quality of ingir-ingir (Mystus nigriceps). The method used is an experimental method with a completely randomized design (CRD) with four treatments and three replications. Treatment in this study were P0 (NaCl 0,9% dose of 1 ml / kg body weight) P1 (ovaprim dose of 0,5 ml / kg body weight) P2 (ovaprim dose of 0,7 ml/ kg body weight) and P3 (dose ovaprim 0,9 ml / kg body weight).The results of the research showed that the ovaprim doses 0.7 ml / kg body weight gave the optimum result inter of latent period (6,37 hours), number of egg striping (315 eggs / gram broodstock), increase the diameter eggs (0,038 mm) and percent increase egg maturation (14,3%), and the ovisomatik index (9,85%).Keywords: Ovaprim doses, Ovulation, Ovisomatik indeks and egg quality

Abstract

                                            AbtrakThis research was conducted from April to June 2017 at Fish Hatchery and Breeding Laboratory, Faculty of Fisheries and Marine, University of Riau. The aim of this research is to know the effect of natural feed change of Artemia sp with Tubifex sp to growth and survival of fresh tambaqui (Colossoma macropomum) which maintained by water recirculation system. The method used in this study is an experimental method with Completely Randomized Design (RAL) with one factor, five treatments and three repetitions. The treatments in this study were P1 is giving of Artemia sp for 7 days and Tubifex sp for 33 days, P2 is giving of Artemia sp for 14 days and Tubifex sp for 26 days, P3 is giving Artemia sp for 21 days and Tubifex sp for 19 days, P4 is giving of Artemia sp for 40 days and P5 is giving of Tubifex sp for 40 days. Parameters measured is absolute weight growth, absolute long growth, daily weight growth rate and survival. The results showed that the best change of feed treatment was on P1 with absolute weight growth was 3.17 grams, absolute long growth was 4.87 cm, daily weight growth rate was 18.83 % / day and the survival rate was 97.78%.Keywords: Tubifex sp, Artemia sp, growth and survival of (Colossoma macropomum)

Abstract

The research was conducted from September-November 2014 at the Fish Hatchery and Breeding Laboratory Faculty of Fisheries and Marine Science University of Riau. The objective of the research was to examine the optimal doses of vitamin E added to feed diet on the gonad maturation of the climbing perch (Anabas testudineus Bloch) such as Gonad Maturation Level, Gonad Somatic Index (GSI), fecundity and egg diameter. A completetely randomized design with three replicationwas used and four treatments.The treatmen in this research were P0 (pellet+Vit E 0 mg), P1 (pellet+Vit E 150 mg), P2 (pellet+Vit E 300 mg) and P3 (pellet + Vit E 450 mg).The results of research indicate that dosage vitamin E 300 mg was the best dosage for gonad maturation, reared for 56 days and the total fish reached Gonad Maturations Level IV 14 individuals (77,78%), Index Gonad Somatic (IGS) 9,232%, fecundity of 4.010 and egg diameter 0,698mm. The temperature range from 26-280C, pH 5-6 and DO 4-5 ppm.Keyword : Vitamin E, Gonad Maturation, Climbing Perch (Anabas testudineus Bloch)

Abstract

The purpose of this study was to determine the effect of propolis on the sex reversal of Guppy fish (Poecilia reticulata) with broodstock immersion method in a range of 24 hours and a different dose. This study was conducted over 80 days, performed at the Laboratory of Fish Hatchery and Breeding, Faculty of Fisheries and Marine Science, University of Riau. The experimental design used was a completely randomized design (CRD) with 1 factor of 4 treatments and 3 replications the P0 treatment (control), treatment P1 (0.2 ml), treatment P2 (0.4 ml) and P3 treatment (0.6 ml). The variables measured were Survival (SR), Briefing Gender Male, Weight Absolute Growth, Growth Absolute length and Growth Daily. The results showed that the direction of the male gender is the highest in the P2 treatment (0.4 ml) with the percentage of males was 72%, survival rate (SR) were highest in treatment P3 (85%) at a dose of 0.6 ml, where as growth absolute weight of 0.27 grams (P0), the absolute growth in length by 2.87 cm (P0 and P1) and daily weight growth rate of 2.84% (P0).Key word: Guppy, Propolis, Sex Reversal, Male

Abstract

This research was conducted over 60 days, starting on April 20 until June 8 2015, at the Hatchery and Breeding Laboratory at Fisheries and Marine Science Faculty, University of Riau. This research aims to determine the effect of sGnRH-a + domperidone with different doses of the ovulation stimulation and the eggs quality of Nilem Carp (O. hasselti CV) which is the first step of research and then the best dosage obtained through observations in the first step will then be injected against gonads mature female brood and then will spawn with the male injected with the best dose (0.4 ml/kg body weight) through research "sGnRH-a + domperidone With Different Doses for Volume, Concentration and Cement Quality of Nilem Carp (O. hasselti CV) as the second step of this research. The results showed that sGnRH-a + domperidone at a dose of 0.6 ml/kg body weight were significant (p<0,05) for the latent time, total eggs ovulation, egg diameter increase, eggs maturity and ovisomatik index value, with the best results for the latent time (6.15 hours), total eggs ovulation (242 eggs/g gonads), egg diameter increase (0.9125 mm), eggs maturity (20 %) and ovisomatik value index (14.75 %). Results of the second step resulted in average: fertility rate (81.33 %), hatching rate (81.76 %), absolute length growth (1.91 cm), absolute weight growth (0.27 g), daily growth rate (10.17 %) and the rate of survival (95.1 %).
