Abstract

Penelitian ini berawal dari pengamatan dan observasi penulis saat melaksanakan Praktik Lapangan Kependidikan (PLK) di SMK Negeri 2 Batusangkar.Kurangnya kesiapan lulusan SMK dalam memasuki dunia kerja, tidak terlepas dari beberapa faktor yang mempengaruhinya. Disiplin belajar adalah salah satu faktor dari diri siswa yang dapat mempengaruhi sikap dan minat dalam mengikuti pelajaran. Disiplin belajar yang baik dalam belajar akan memperlancar proses belajar praktikum dan menentukan hasil belajar siswa. Untuk melihat gejala yang ditimbulkan oleh disiplin belajar dan seberapa kuat hubungannya terhadap kesiapan siswa dalam memasuki dunia kerja  maka penulis mengajukan hipotesis. Adapun  hipotesis yang diajukan adalah sebagai berikut: “Terdapat kontribusi disiplin belajar terhadap kesiapan siswa kelas XI TO SMK Negeri 2 Batusangkar dalam memasuki dunia kerja”. Penelitian ini bersifat korelasional, tujuan penelitian adalah untuk mengetahui ada tidaknya kontribusi antara disiplin belajar terhadap kesiapan siswa memasuki dunia kerja. Populasi dalam penelitian ini adalah seluruh siswa kelas XI Jurusan Teknik Mekanik Otomotif SMK Negeri 2 Batusangkar yang berjumlah 63 orang. Sampel dalam penelitian ini diambilkan dari populasi sebanyak 39 orang yang ditentukan dengan menggunakan rumus slovin. Data disiplin belajar dan kesiapan siswa memasuki dunia kerja diperoleh dari penyebaran angket. Angket yang digunakan adalah angket yang telah dinyatakan valid dan reliabel. Uji coba angket dilakukan tanggal 16 Juli 2012 sampai dengan tanggal 21 Mei 2012 pada populasi yang berada di luar sampel penelitian. Jenis analisis data yang digunakan dalam penelitian ini adalah menggunakan rumus Korelasi Pearson Product Moment (PPM) dan untuk menguji keberartian koefisien korelasi r, dapat di uji dengan mengunakan uji t sehingga akan didapat apakah hasil penelitian dapat digeneralisasikan pada populasi. Dari analisis data hasil penelitian diperoleh koefisien korelasi r hitung > r tabel (0,415 > 0,325) dan untuk uji keberartian korelasi  didapat t hitung > t tabel (2,772 > 1,697) pada taraf signifikan 5%. Dengan demikian dapat disimpulkan bahwa terdapat kontribusi yang positif dan signifikan antara disiplin belajar terhadap kesiapan siswa kelas XI TO SMK Negeri 2 Batusangkar dalam memasuki dunia kerja. Abstract

Baja Karbon sedang yang memiliki komposisi kimia: 0,30%C–0,60%C. Sifat mekanik material baja karbon sedang ini dipengaruhi oleh struktur mikro dan perlakuan yang diterimanya. Supaya tingkat kekerasannya meningkat maka di beri proses perlakuan panas yang diberikan yaitu  pembakaran dengan arang kayu dan arang tempurung kelapa.  Objek penelitian berupa Spesimen uji yang berjumlah 15 buah dan dikelompokkan menjadi 3 kelompok. Spesimen kelompok A tidak diberikan perlakuan, sementara kelompok B spesimen yang di bakar dengan arang kayu, sedangkan kelompok C spesimen yang di bakar dengan arang tempurung kelapa. Proses  Hardening  dilakukan pada  holding time  15, 20, 25, 30, dan 35 menit. Media pendingin yang digunakan adalah air bertujuan untuk mempercepat pendinginan supaya unsur karbonnya semakin banyak.  Pengujian kekerasan yang digunakan adalah pengujian kekerasan Brinell.  Hasil penelitian diperoleh bahwa  terjadi peningkatan kekerasan pada spesimen yang di  hardening dengan arang kayu yaitu 182,4 BHN dan dengan arang tempurung kelapa 184,78 BHN, bila dibandingkan dengan spesimen yang tidak diberi perlakuan yang hanya memiliki kekerasan 178 BHN. Nilai kekerasan. Berdasarkan hasil analisa data dapat disimpulkan bahwa proses  hardening  dapat meningkatkan kekerasan baja karbon sedang.---------------------------------------------------------------------Carbon steel was having chemical composition: 0.30% C-0, 60% C. Mechanical properties of carbon steel material being is influenced by the microstructure and the treatment it receives. In order to increase the levels of violence in the given heat treatment process given that the burning charcoal and coconut shell charcoal. Object of research in the form of test specimens, amounting to 15 pieces and divided into 3 groups. Specimens were not given treatment group A, while group B specimens were burned with charcoal, while group C specimens that burn with coconut shell charcoal. Hardening process carried on holding time 15, 20, 25, 30, and 35 min. Cooling medium used is intended to accelerate the cooling water so the more elemental carbon. Hardness testing is used Brinell hardness testing. The result showed that an increase in violence in the hardening of the specimen with the 182.4 BHN charcoal and coconut shell charcoal 184.78 with BHN, when compared with the untreated specimens which only has a hardness of 178 BHN. Hardness value. Based on the results of the data analysis it can be concluded that the hardening process can increase the hardness of carbon steel was.

Abstract

This research aim to to know there is or do not it him  emotional intellegence relation of Vocational High School student with achievement learn student. Covering ability of student to recognize, to managing, and expressing feeling correctly, including for self-motivation alone, recognizing others emotion, and also construct [relation/link] with others. Sampel in this research is taken away from by  population that is entire/all class student of X technique majors of otomotif counted 52 one who is determined by using formula of Taro Yamane. emotional Data Intellegence obtained from enquette in the form of scale of likert counted 41 item, while achievement data learn student obtained from anomalous semester notification average value of  school year 2011 / 2012. Type analyse data which is used in this research use Correlation formula of Pearson Product Moment ( PPM). Data result of research obtained by  correlation coefficient of r [count/calculate] > r of[is tables of ( 0,6204 > 0,279) and for test to mean correlation got by t calculate > t of[is tables of ( 5,59414 > 1,684) at] level of signifikan 5%. Abstract

Internet services nowadays are not only dominated by the traffic channel of data from text, picture or video but they have been used for sending and receiving date in from of voice information. VoIP (Voicer Over Internet Protocol) can be identified as the sending process of voice via internet network. Today, VoIP as internet services in Indonesia has be quite popular in experts of internet. There are two steps in using this system, first, we have to conduct relationship with VoIP by choosing the right line that will be used. The next step is to regulate the QOS (Quality of Service). The quality of VoIP services is generally influenced by some related components such as delay, jitter, lass package and error sequence. This paper will analize the quality of service in VoIP.

Abstract

Real-time system requires a rapid process with an optimum accurate value in order to produce data that can be used in the decision making or used in other processes according to the required deadline. However, problems occur when the data that must be processed arrive late or the deadline is accelerated so that the process must be stopped before completion. This cause an intermediated result with low accurate value, therefore the real-time system performance criteria is difficult to achieve. This paper discusses the real-time serial-bit multiplication process using the most significant bit (MSB) first process shift-and-add multiplication algorithm method. This algorithm is a modification of the shift-and-add least significant bit (LSB) first multiplication algorithm which processes the MSB prior to the processing of operand multiplier. it is expected that the products of multiplication processes a valua with high accuracy if the process must be stopped prior to completion. this algorithm has been simulated using Altera MaxPlus II software. it is expected that this algorithm can be used in real-time system processor design application because the intermediate result value is more preferable compared to the shift-and-add LSB first.

Abstract

Real-time system (RTS) accurately entails the speedy accuracy process. To comply with the performance of the real time of the spedd process, a processor or refiner used to require a strategy of algorithm in executing the process. A problem will arise when the data processed are not yet settled whereas the deadline provided to processing is restricted. Consequently, the data, which are generated, cannot be made use of the system to process after wards and cause automatically the system fail or the performance deceases.This research investigated the ability of the parallel processing multiplication of the Braun Array Multiplier in conforming to the speed process toward the multiplication of theunlabelled numbers in a restricted deadline. To recognize the ability of the algorithm, it is carried out a ratio with series of mathematical steps or multiplication algorithm by means of applying the simulation of VHDL programming language. This simulation indicates the result of timing diagram which canbe analyzed through algorithm process speed respectively.The result, found through the algorithm of Braun Array Multiplier, acquired the process speed which was much better then compared with serial algorithm. This research is expected to prove and authenticate that the Braun Array Multiplier can be made use of Real Time System Application.

Abstract

Penelitian ini berawal dari pengamatan yang penulis lakukan saat Praktik Lapangan Kependidikan (PLK) di SMK Negeri 5 Padang. Masih rendahnya hasil belajar pada mata pelajaran kompetensi produktif, tidak terlepas dari berbagai faktor yang mempengaruhinya, salah satunya adalah faktor psikis yaitu minat bekerja di Dunia Usaha/Dunia Industri  (DUDI) nantinya. Minat bekerja  merupakan salah satu faktor psikis yang bersifat non intelektual. Peranannya dalam hal pemberi semangat, merasa senang dalam  melakukan sesuatu, dan penumbuh perhatian semangat untuk belajar yang  itu semua adalah untuk bekerja di DUDI. Siswa yang memiliki minat bekerja yang kuat akan punya semangat tinggi untuk melakukan kegiatan belajar. Penelitian ini bersifat korelasional, tujuan penelitian adalah untuk mengetahui ada tidaknya hubungan antara minat bekerja  dengan hasil belajar mata pelajaran produktif siswa Kelas XII Teknik Kendaraan Ringan SMK Negeri 5 Padang. Adapun  hipotesis yang diajukan adalah sebagai berikut: “Terdapat hubungan antara minat bekerja dengan hasil belajar mata pelajaran produktif siswa kelas XII Teknik Kendaraan Ringan SMK Negeri 5 Padang. Populasi dalam penelitian ini adalah seluruh siswa kelas XII Teknik Kendaraan Ringan SMK Negeri 5 Padang yang berjumlah 52 orang. Sampel dalam penelitian ini diambil dari populasi yang awalnya berjumlah 35 orang yang ditentukan dengan menggunakan rumus Taro Yamane, namun menjadi 33 orang karena terdapat 2 orang sampel yang melakukan pengisian data secara tidak benar dalam mengisi instrumen.  Data minat bekerja  diperoleh dari penyebaran angket sedangkan data hasil belajar siswa diperoleh dari kantor jurusan teknik otomotif. Angket yang digunakan adalah angket yang telah dinyatakan valid dan reliabel. Uji coba angket dan penelitian dilakukan tanggal 16 Februari 2013 sampai dengan tanggal 6 Maret 2013. Dari analisis data penelitian diperoleh koefisien korelasi r hitung > r tabel (0,3937 > 0,344) dan untuk uji keberartian korelasi  didapat t hitung > t tabel (2,5941 > 2,042) pada taraf signifikan 5%. Kesimpulan penelitian ini adalah terdapat hubungan yang positif dan signifikan antara minat bekerja  dengan hasil belajar mata pelajaran produktif  siswa kelas XII TeknikKendaraan Ringan SMK Negeri 5 Padang.

Abstract

Quality and sorting is one method to classify an observed object and the end result of the inspection process. Quality and sorting can be done manually or automatically where quality and one manually sorting can be done by utilizing the human senses. Quality automatically requires certain tools such as the use of digital cameras to replace the sensory function of the human eye as a visual inspection. By using a digital camera, the camera capture object images obtained is processed via image processing, the processing system can be used as an automated visual inspection for the decision making process quality and sorting. The ability to recognize objects in the form of camera pixel component, can be used to determine the size and color, while the components can be used to determine the level of maturity. This system implemented as automatic visual inspection to determine quality tomato fruit size and maturity level. Results of testing this system is able to recognize 100% ripe tomatoes and 73% were able to recognize the young tomato fruit, the overall ability of the system to recognize the maturity level of the tomato fruit was 86.15%. While the tomatoes quality test based on class size with large, medium and small work 100%. Recognize the success rate of fruit maturity is greatly influenced by the current lighting objects tomatoes in camera capture. We hope this research can be used as input data for the next stage as the data input to the system pemutuan and automatically sorting tomatoes.

Abstract

Real-time system works in a limited period of time in accordance with the deadline time given. The success of a real time system performance is determined by several time components such as release time, processing time and time deadlines. Problems arise when the processing time is not enough due to the delay factor deadline or other factors, while the deadline time has come and the process had to be stopped. When the process is stopped, the results obtained have not been enough to be used as the end result of data systems fail to meet the given time constraint. There are several ways to overcome this, one is to perform preprocessing before the end of the process is done. In the sequential preprocessing system multioperand summation of the operand-operand which can be summed sort operand-operand which has significant influence on the results done first. When the process had to be stopped due to a deadline is coming then the accuracy of the results produced may be used as the final result. This study utilized the method as a preprocessing ascend in sorting systems to sort operand-operand values to be summed from largest to smallest. The results show the accuracy of the rate of change of the summation process in accordance with the needs of real-time system when the process had to be stopped before the end.

Abstract

ABSTRACTThis research was conducted in the District Sijunjung regarding training & development , motivation on employee performance at PT . PLN Persero Sijunjung district . The purpose of this study was to obtain evidence of the effect of training & development , motivation on employee performance in PT . PLN Persero Sijunjung district .The method used in this research is descriptive and associative . This research is a field , where the use of secondary data . Training & development ( X1 ) , motivation ( X2 ) and job performance ( Y ) is obtained from documentation PT . PLN Persero Sijunjung district . Analysis of the data used in this study is a descriptive analysis and inductive analysis which consists of classical assumption test , multiple linear regression analysis and hypothesis testing .Based on multiple linear regression equation it can be seen that the regression coefficient of training & development ( X1 ) obtained a value of 0.366 with a positive coefficient sign ( + ) , motivation ( X2 ) obtained a value of 0.156 . This means that the training & development , motivation can increase job performance in PT . PLN Persero Sijunjung . Significance value of the variable value of the training and development of 0.000 < 0.05 , and the value of the variable motivational significance of 0.043 < 0.05 It can be concluded that the training & development , motivation jointly affect performance in PT . PLN Persero Sijunjung district .Based on these results , it is suggested that employees of PT . PLN Persero Sijunjung district to be more active in running training & development , and motivation of employees so that performance can be increased .Keywords : Training & Development and Motivation , Job Performance
