Abstract

Abstract: This action research aims to increasing: (1) the students’ active in a speaking skill learnin, and (2) increasing the fourth grade students’ speaking skill of Karanganyar 1st State Elementary School in academic year 2011/2012. The result of the research shows that mind mapping method can increase the quality of speaking skill learning, both being active or the result, of fourth grade students of Karanganyar 1st State Elementary School. The increasing of being active is indicated by the acquisition of being active percentage that can be seen by four aspects. There are asking if there is something unknown, answering or giving feedback, caring of teacher’s explanation, and staying on their own chair. The average of their being active from 40 students in the first cycle increases in the second cycle from 54,4 % to 78,1 %. This research also shows that using mind mapping method can increases the result of speaking skill learning in the fourth grade students of Karanganyar 1st State Elementary School. It can be seen by the number of students who can reach the minimum completeness. In the first cycle, the number of students who get a school grade more than 68 are 25 students or 62,5 % from the total number of students (40 students). In the second cycle, the number of students who get a school grade more than 68 are 34 students or 85 % from the total number of students. Keywords:mind mapping method, the students’ active, speaking skill Abstrak: Penelitian tindakan bertujuan untuk meningkatkan: (1) keaktifan siswa dalam pembelajaran keterampilan berbicara, dan (2)  keterampilan berbicara siswa kelas IV Sekolah Negeri Karanganyar 1 tahun akademik 2011/2012 melalui penerapan metode mind mapping atau peta pikiran. Hasil penelitian menunjukkan bahwa metode pemetaan  pikiran dapat meningkatkan kualitas pembelajaran keterampilan berbicara, baik keaktifan maupun hasilnya. Peningkatan  dari segi keaktifan ditandai dengan  persentase siswa pada  empat aspek, yaitu yang bertanya tentang sesuatu yang belum diketahui, menjawab atau memberikan umpan balik, memahami penjelasan guru, dan tenang dalam pembelajaran. Rata-rata siswa yang aktif dari 40 siswa meningkatkan dari siklus pertama ke siklus kedua, yaitu dari 54,4% menjadi 78,1%. Penelitian ini juga menunjukkan bahwa penggunakan metode pemetaan pikiran dapat meningkatkan hasil belajar keterampilan berbicara siswa kelas IV Sekolah Dasar Negeri Karanganyar 1. Hal ini dapat dilihat dari jumlah siswa yang dapat mencapai ketuntasan minimal. Pada siklus pertama, jumlah siswa yang mendapatkan nilai tuntas lebih dari nilai 68 ada 25 siswa atau 62,5% dari jumlah total siswa (40 siswa). Pada siklus kedua, jumlah siswa yang mendapatkan nilai lebih dari nilai 68 adalah 34 siswa atau 85% dari jumlah total siswa.   Kata kunci:  metode mind mapping (peta pikiran),  keaktifan siswa, keterampilan berbicara

Abstract

Abstract: This study aims to improve: (1) the quality of the learning process of writing narrative, and (2) the result of narrative writing ability by applying mind mapping method in the VII A students in SMP Negeri 14 Surakarta. This research is Classroom Action Research (CAR) which is implemented in two cycles. Each cycle consists of four stages: (1) planning, (2) the implementation phase, (3) the stage of observation and interpretation, and (4) stage of analysis and reflection. Percentage of student activity during apperception in the cycle I was at 51,6%, whereas in the second cycle to be 81%. Percentage of student interest and motivation while attending learning activities in the cycle I was increased by 67,7% to be 81% in cycle II. Percentage of student activeness and attention is 74,2% to be 77% in cycle II. Increased student ability to write narrative can also be seen from the increasing number of students who can write narrative or a student who reaches the score ≥ 70 in each cycle. In the initial survey, the percentage of students who can reach the passing score is 38,71%. On the cycle I was 45,16% and in the second cycle was 80,64%. Abstract

Abstrak: Penelitian ini bertujuan untuk mendeskripsikan diksi (pilihan kata), gaya bahasa (majas), citraan novel Dari Hari ke Hari karya Mahbub Djunaidi, dan relevansi hasil kajian pada novel Dari Hari ke Hari karya Mahbub Djunaidi sebagai materi ajar Bahasa Indonesia di SMA. Penelitian ini berbentuk deskriptif kualitatif dengan metode analisis isi. Hasil penelitian: Pertama, penggunaan diksi (pilihan kata) meliputi kata konkret, kata konotatif, kata sapaan atau nama diri, kata vulgar, kata serapan, kosakata bahasa daerah, dan kata dengan realitas alam. Kedua, penggunaan gaya bahasa (majas) meliputi perumpamaan, metafora, personifikasi, depersonifikasi, aligori, antitesis, pleonasme, perifrasis, antisipasi, epanortosis, satire, paradoks, klimaks, dantiklimaks, alusi, atonomasi, eroteris, asindenton, polisedenton, asonansi, epizeukis, anafora, dan epistrofa. Ketiga, penggunaan citraan meliputi citraan penglihatan, citraan gerak, citraan penciuman, citraan peraba, dan citraan pendengaran. Keempat, novel Dari Hari ke Hari dapat digunakan sebagai materi ajar Bahasa Indoneisa di SMA pada kelas XII yang menerapkan kurikulum 2013, yaitu pada KD memahami struktur dan kaidah-kaidah teks novel. Kata kunci: Stilisika, novel Dari Hari ke Hari, materi ajar Abstract: The aims of this research are to describe diction (word choise, figure of a speech, imagery of Dari Hari Ke Hari’s novel by Mahbub Djunaidi, and the relevance of the results of studies as Bahasa Indonesia teaching material for the Senior High School. This study is a qualitative descriptive with content analysis method. The result showed that. First, the use of diction (choice words) includes concrete words, connotative words, word greetings or self-names, vulgar words, words of absorption, regional vocabulary, and words with natural reality. Second, the use of language style (Figure of a speech) includes simile, metaphor, personification, depersonification, allegory, antithesis, pleonasme, periprasis, anticipation, epanortosis, satire, paradox, climax, anti-climax, allusion, atonomation, eroteris, asyndeton, polisedenton, epizeukis, anaphora, and epystrofa. Third, the use of imagery includes visual imagery, motion imagery, olfactory imagery, tactical imagery, and auditory images. Fourth, Dari Hari Ke Hari’s novel can be used as a teaching material in high school literature class XII curriculum of 2013, ie at base competence understand the structure and rules of novel text. Abstract

This study aims to (1) describe the developing process of a character education model based integrated learning and (2) construct a prototype component of character education models based integrated learning. The study is close to the research & development (Gall, Gall & Borg, 2003). The research development form that applied in the development of character education models in elementary school is done by following a modification as described by Sukmadinata (2007). The development procedure includes the stages of: (1) preliminary study, (2) development stage, (3) model testing stage, and (4) dissemination of the final product in the form of manual publication for teachers. This research takes subjects on Indonesian language learning in elementary schools, whereas in this research located in 5 District of Surakarta City. Data sources include the informant, records, and documents, as well as places and events. Data analysis by using interactive analysis techniques to analyze the data about the model prototype and qualitative analysis to determine the product reliability through limited testing in the field by teachers who have attended the workshop. The results can be noted that: (1) The development process of a character education model based integrated learning in the theme of Indonesian language learning in elementary school to capture the teachers needs in implementing the character education. In a preliminary study found teachers needs in form of syllabus development and design of Indonesian language learning programs in which integrated with character education; and (2) prototype component of character education models based integrated learning in the theme of Indonesian language learning in elementary school.

Abstract

This research aims to describe the increasing of the students Indonesian communicative competence and the collaboration between the lecturer and teacher in establishing the students Indonesian communicative competence. This research was conducted using qualitativemethod. The sources of data were collected from informants and were determined through criterionbasedselection. The data were taken through deep interview and direct observation.  Then they were analyzed by interactivemethod and served in descriptionbased on domain analysis. This research concludes that the teachers who have positive perception can increase the students Indonesian communicative competence. The effective interactions in the Indonesian teaching in this research is multi directions and students Indonesian communicative competence was shown by grammatical competence, sociolinguistic competence, and discourse competence.

Abstract

The research aims at describing the realization of recreative poetry teaching in SMK Negeri 1 Surakarta. The focus of the research is about the things related to the expressive and recreative poetry teaching which include the planning, the implementing, the barriers, and  the efforts done by the teacher in handling recreative poetry teaching. The research is a case study research (qualitative research). The result of this research concludes that it is necessary to gain the perception of Indonesian Language teacher about the curriculum, the competence in recreative poetry teaching, and the theory and appreciation of poetry. With the increase of those things, it is hoped that the teacher can guide students to have a high ability about recreative poetry appreciation.

Abstract

This research aims at developing the product of interactive media based macromedia-flash for basic reading writing learning with interactive approach to be implemented in poor regions of Surakarta. The research method is research and development method (R&D).  The data analysis technique used is interactive model which consists of reducing data, exposing data, and drawing conclusion. The result of the research shows that: (1) the exploration stage recognized an interesting teaching media needs to be implemented in elementary school of poor regions in Surakarta and developed macromedia-flash based interactive media, (2) the development process was carried out through observation, interview, and workshop. Based on the test result, it is found that the effectiveness of interactive media with macromedia-flash can be used to improve the competence of elementary reading-writing effectively. The use of this media is sustainable over along period.

Abstract

The aim of this research is to know the company’s environmental responsibility, the opinion of the internal accountant to information which has to do with environmental costs and the types of environmental costs is considered important, and also the use of the environmental cost information in taking management decisions.The type of this research is qualitative, and this research is done in PT SIER (Persero), PT SDM Lab., and PT HMS, Tbk. Data is collected by questionnaire, interview, observation, and documentation. Interview is done with the internal accountant, financial manager, and company’s production manager, or the side who represent.The result of this research shows that the company’s environmental responsibility can be known through the result of measurement of environmental performance by identifying through the key elements ISO 14001. The company’s internal accountant has the opinion that environmental costs are the costs which  related to company production process and product influencing company net profit, also costs related to society, company community. Some type of environmental costs were said very important although according to spectrum of environmental costs is stated to have very difficult level in measuring. It happened because there is no the standard of accounting that arrange the problem of environmental reporting and measurement. The company’s internal accountant can play an important role in transforming the data become information about environment by identification environmental costs that is important, informing it as cost information, and integrating the costs in management decisions. Whether or not a cost is environmental, the goal is to ensure that relevant costs receive appropriate attention.
