Abstract

Permasalahan Traveling Salesman Problem (TSP) dikenal dengan sebagai permasalahan yang bersifat Nondeterministic Polynomial-Hard (NP-Hard). Penyelesaian eksak untuk masalah TSP ini mengharuskan perhitungan terhadap semua kemungkinan rute yang dapat diperoleh, kemudian memilih salah satu rute yang terpendek. Untuk itu jika terdapat n kota yang harus di kunjungin, maka diperlukanan proses pencarian sebanyak (n-1)!/2n rute. Pada penelitian ini, penulis menggunakan Artificial Bee Colony (ABC) Algorithm. ABC algorithm dengan neighborhood operator bertujuan untuk mendapatkan penyelesaian terbaik jalur terpendek dari TSP. Hasil komputasi menunjukkan ABC dengan neighborhood operator sudah mendapatkan penyelesaian terbaik untuk beberapa kasus.

Abstract

Background: In the process of work to gain the maximum results, a radiologist needs a viewing box tool to read radiographs. Therefore, the authors want to develop a viewing box tool, which in general the work if this tool resembles the factory manufactured tool. The viewing tool box made can adjust the intensity of the light produced.Objective: to create a viewing box tool by using a potentiometer system.Methods: This study used applied research method by creating and using the design of viewing box tool by using a potentiometer system and testing the viewing box tool created by using a Lux meter and 15 respondents consisting of five radiologists and 10 radiographers who should fulfill the questionnaire form.Results: The mean of viewing box illumination reached 220 lux. The results of the questionnaire showed that 100% radiologist gave an A (excellent) and expressed that the viewing box tool created could be used properly and 90% radiographers provided an A (excellent) and expressed that the viewing box tool created could be used properly, while 10% radiographer gave a value of B (moderate).Conclusion: viewing box tool created could be used properly and obtained optimal results as a tool in reading radiographs. Potentiometer system contained in the viewing box was very helpful in reading radiographs because it allowed to adjust the light intensity according to user needs.Keywords       :  Viewing box, Potentiometer Bibliography   : 1980-2011

Abstract

The aim of this research was to investigate the Soyben varieties that  damage inferior relative. This research utilize agglomerate Random Design (RACK) Factorial is with 2 factor those are analyzed which is N.viridula amount factor( K ), varietass type factor (V ).  Conduct that at quiz as follows for N. viridula amount( K) and varietass type( V ) by following conduct combines: KoV1= 0 / anjasmoro, K1V1 = 3 number / anjasmoro, K2V1 = 6 number / anjasmoro, K3V1 = 9 number / anjasmoro, and KoV2= 0 / grobongan, K1V2 = 3 number / grobongan, K2V2 = 6 number / grobongan, K3V2 = 9 number / grobongan, KoV3= 0 / kaba, K1V3 = 3 number / kaba,K2V3 = 6 number / kaba,  K3V3 = 9 number / kaba. ROSELLE FLOWER (HIBISCUS SABDARIFFA) IN THE TREATMENT OF HYPERTENSION IN POSTPARTUM MOTHERS

Abstract

Background: Roselle flower (Hibiscus sabdariffa) has been used as a food and herbal drinks, in hot and cold beverages, as a herbal medicine.Objective: To examine the effect of consuming roselle dried flower petals on changes in maternal hypertensive blood pressure during postpartum period.Methods: This was a quasi-experimental study with non-equivalent control group design conducted in 2016. There were 30 samples recruited using consecutive sampling with 15 samples in the intervention group and control group. Data were analyzed using paired t-test to know the difference of blood pressure value before and after intervention in the intervention and control group, and Independent t-test  to determine the difference of blood pressure decrease between intervention and control group. Mann-whitney and Wilcoxon test were also performed for data analysis.Results: Findings showed that there were statistically significant differences in systolic and diastolic blood pressure values before and after intervention in the intervention and control group with p-value 0.000 <0.05 with systolic blood pressure decrease was 5 mmHg and diastolic was 5.33 mmHg. Additionally, there was a significant effect in the duration of healing in the intervention group with p-value 0.000 <0.05, with the average duration of healing was 2 days.Conclusion: There was significant effects of dried petals of rosella flowers (Hibiscus sabdariffa) brewed with 200 ml of hot water with temperature 90oC in lowering blood pressure, and there was significant differences in systolic and diastolic blood pressure and duration of healing between the intervention and control group of mothers who consumed antihypertensive drugs. The results of this study can be applied by midwives in postpartum care with the cases of hypertension. It is expected that this intervention can help the healing process more quickly through a combination of antihypertensive medicines and sedated petals of rosella flowers.

Abstract

AbstractThis conceptual paper, presents about the result of discussion regarding students-centered learning improves students’ cognitive ability. SCL improves skills  by  developing  cognitive  ability  lies  within  them  as  the  first  basic  skill. It is important for students to have adequate cognitive abilities to keep up the materials which are being taught by teachers. Therefore, this paper will explain about cognitive ability. Cognitive ability which is affecting on learning process, has made some teachers struggle to seek a way how to improve it. There are few methods that have been chosen thoroughly for developing cognitive abilities on students. First is about developing thinking that refers mainly to how students think effectively and creatively. Second is about cooperative learning that refers to how students cooperate or work with other and effect of partners in learning process. EFFECT OF CONSUMING RED DRAGON FRUIT (HYLOCEREUS COSTARICENSIS) JUICE ON THE LEVELS OF HEMOGLOBIN AND ERYTHROCYTE AMONG PREGNANT WOMEN

Abstract

Background: Iron deficiency is the most common cause of anemia during pregnancy. Red  dragon fruit is assumed having much iron to increase hemoglobin and erythrocyte level.Objective: This study aims to examine the effect of dragon fruit juice on levels of hemoglobin and erythrocytes. Methods: This was a quasi experimental research with non-equivalent control group design. There were 34 respondents recruited in this study using consecutive sampling. The samples were divided into intervention group (17 respondents) and control group (17 respondents). Data were analyzed using Independent t-test and Paired t-test.Results: There was a statistically significant effect of red dragon fruit juice Hb level on the 7th day of intervention with p-value 0.037 (<0.05), but there was no significant effect on hemoglobin level in the 14th day of intervention with p-value 0.140 (>0.05). This study also revealed that there was a statistically significant effect of red dragon fruit juice on pregnant women's erythrocyte level on the 7th day with p-value 0.025 (<0.05), but there was no significant effect on the erythrocyte level in the 14th day of intervention with p-value 0.094 (> 0.05). Conclusion: There was a statistically significant effect of red dragon fruit juice on hemoglobin and erythrocyte levels. This study provides the insight of knowledge that the red dragon fruit juice can be an alternative treatment to deal with anemia among pregnant women.

EFFECT OF MALEIC ANHYDRIDE POLYPROPYLENE ON THE PROPERTIES OF COCONUT SHELL FILLED THERMOPLASTIC ELASTOMERIC OLEFIN COMPOSITES

Abstract

Coconut shell (CS) is one of agro-waste material which has high natural lignocellulosics content. This material provides a potential resource as a reinforcement agent in thermoplastic elastomeric olefin (TEO). In this study, CS was used as filler in TEO composites. The effect of CS loading and Maleic Anhydride Polypropylene (MAPP) as compatibilizer on mechanical properties, morphology and thermal properties were studied. Results show that the increasing of CS loading has increased the tensile strength, elongation at break and Youngs modulus of TEO/CS composites. At similar content, the effect of PP-g-MA as compatibilizer has improved the tensile strength, elongation at break and Youngs modulus of TEO/CS composites. The SEM study of the tensile fracture surface of compatibilized composites indicates that the presence of PP-g-MA increased the interfacial interaction. TGA results show that the composites with addition of MAPP as a compatibilizer has better the thermal stability compared to composites without addition of MAPP at 600 °C. DSC analysis showed that the addition of MAPP decreases the crystallinity of TEO/CS composites. It was found that the presence of MAPP will extended the molecular chain of the TEO/CS composites.   Keywords: thermoplastic olefin, coconut shell, compatibilizer, composites

Abstract

Natural lignocellulosics have an outstanding potential as reinforcement in thermoplastics. Coconut shell is one of natural lignocellulosic material. In this study, coconut shell (CS) was use as filler in low density polyethylene (LDPE) composites. The effect of surface treatment of coconut shell (CS) with acetic acid (acetylation) on mechanical properties, thermal properties and morphology were studied. The acetylation treatment has improved the tensile strength, elongation at break and Youngs modulus of LDPE/CS composites. Thermogravimetric analysis (TGA) results show that the acetylated composites has better thermal stability compared to untreated composites at 600 °C. Differential scanning calorimetry (DSC) analysis showed that the esterification treatment increases the crystallinity of LDPE/CS composites. It was found that coconut shell acts as a nucleation agent in the presence of acrylic acid. The scanning electron microscopy (SEM) study of the tensile fracture surface of acetylated composites indicates that the presence of acetic acid increased the interfacial interaction.

EFFECT OF VARIATION IN THE NUMBER OF THICK SLAB ON THE SCAN TIME AND IMAGE INFORMATION ON THE EXAMINATION OF MAGNETIC RESONANCE CHOLANGIOPANCREATOGRAPHY (MRCP)

Abstract

Background: Thick Slab is a technique used in the MRCP examination to acquire the image of the biliary system by using oblique slices in taking some parts of the image at different angles. Image quality with a thick slab technique is considered better than the thin slice since the image visualization of the bile ducts system in various parts appear more clearly. Aims: The purpose of this study is to determine the effect of variation in the number of thick slab on the scan time and image information on the MRCP and determine the most informative image with the most effective scan time as possible. Methods: This study type was an experimental study conducted in St. Elisabeth hospital Semarang. The data were in the form of 90 MRI images of biliary tract of 3 patients with 5 variations of Thick Slab (6, 12, 18, 24, 30). The image assessment was taken by 5 respondents regarding the information of the objects of Right Hepatic Duct, Left Hepatic Duct, Common Hepatic Duct, Pancreatic Duct, Cystic Duct, Common Bile Duct and Gallbladder. Data analysis was conducted by regression test and cross tabulation. Results: The study results showed that there was an effect of varying the amount of thick slab on the scan time. The effect of varying the amount of thick slab on the image information can be seen from the statistical test that there was no effect, however descriptively there was a different on the specific per object. The image of thick slab variation of 12 was an image that had the highest value of information with the mean value of 1,988, the total value of 13.936 and a scan time of 0.46 S so that the most informative image with the most effective scan time was on the thick slab number variation of 12. Conclusion: There was an effect of variation in the number of thick slab on the scan time. More variation of the number of thick slab was followed by an increase in the value of the scan time. But there was no effect of variation in the number of thick slab on the image information, however descriptively there was a different on the specific per object which showed that the highest score for the Right Hepatic Duct, Common Hepatic Duct were in the thick slab of 12 and 30, respectively
