Abstract

Water quality based on plankton and benthic organism as bio-indicators  in Senapelan,  Sago and Sail Rivers at  Pekanbaru  city  were  investigated  on  April  -   August  2003.  Survey  method  with  purposive  random sampling  at 7  sampling  point  was  used  in the research.  Various  parameters  such  as saprobe  coefficient indexes,  plankton  and benthic  diversity  and also  bio-indexes  benthic  organism  were observed   Final results had  shown that saprobe indexes plankton between -  0,85   until   +  1,00. While diversity indexes benthic organism  between  0,1 16  -   1,335  and  bio-indexes  benthic  between  1  until  5.  Based  on  the  criterion expressed  that water quality of biology  in Senapelan,  Sago and Sail Rivers at Pekanbaru city were middle until heavily polluted.   Key  words : Biology Quality, Plank tonic, Benthic

Abstract

The purpose of this research is that to create even distribution and understanding about life areaeducation to primary school students that will obtain students’ attitudes in doing actionsappropriating to the concept of life area education and create an alternative the development of lifearea education in Pekanbaru based on national curriculum or local curriculum. So that it can givecontribution to the curriculum in in real on the framework of life area education. The data used in thisresearch were primary and secondary data. Primary data sources from survey (direct observation) atschool, interview with stakeholder related to Head of Education Department, headmasters, andteachers. Primary data were also obtained by giving qutionare to headmasters, teachers, and studentsrelated to cognitive, affective, and psychomotor about life area education. Secondary data wereobtained from school condition like document of PLH activities at school and also stakeholders. Basedon the data of school curriculum analysis to life area education that it can be integrated into fivesubjects that are religion, civics, science and technology, art, and physic education. Based oneducation stakeholder analysis that they supported the life area education to put into local curriculumand to be implemented into daily life at school. Based on analysis data on knowledge and attitudesthan primary school students fully understood about life area education, and they have done to careabout school area.Key Words: curriculum analyze, life area education

Abstract

In line with the competency-based curriculum at the University of Riau, the effort to improvelearning basic concepts of science 2 courses puts emphasis on understanding the concept ofmatter, which is based on students' learning activities through scientific inquiry.Implementation of action research consists of two cycles in PGSD JIP University of Riau onthe odd semester of 2013/2014 with 55 third semester students. Based on the research results,lecturing process by applying the model of inquiry learning, students’ activity increased inwhich in the first cycle all activities are good category except activity I and II are faircategory. Meanwhile students’ activity in first and fourth in cycle II is good category, andvery good category in second, third, fifth, and sixth activity. Temporarily student’s learningoutcomes increased from pre-tests with an average65.45 into 77,0 in daily test I and 77.45onthe daily test II. Improvement from initial data to the first cycle was 11.55, while the datafrom the beginning to the second cycle increased 12 points. In general the improvement ofstudents’learning is possible because the learning model used is inquiry learning so thatlearning becomes active which centered into students by presenting a problem, then studentsare asked to carry out a simple experiment using equipment and tools, using data, arrangingreports, communicating the results of observations based on concepts and learned principles.Keywords: Inquiry, students’ activity, learning outcomes.

Abstract

Abstrac : this research was purpose to improve learning result IPA Class IV SD Negeri 003 Sungai Guntung with the application learning model of Problem Based Instruction (PBI) to improve learning result IPA fourth grade students of SD Negeri 003 Sungai GuntungKecamatanRengatKabupaten Indragiri Hulu 2014/2015 school year was 22 people consist of 12 men and 10 women. This research forms of classroom action research collaborative with two cycles. The research data shows that student learning result obtained that fact the increase in the average of student learning before action is 56, 14 and increased in the first cyclus become 72,72 the differences increase from the previous test scores of 16,22% in cyclus II the average students learning result increased to 61,50 there was increase from cyclus I to the cyclus II of 22,72. Improving student learning result as a whole by 35,79 %. Improving students learning result support by : (a). The percentage of teachers in cyclus I of activity by 85,71% with enough categories, increased in cyclus II become 92,85% with good categories. (b). The percentage of student in cyclus I of activity by 83,65% with good categories, increased in cyclus II. The cyclus II student activity is 90,38% with very good categories, increased in cyclus II. The cyclus II student activity is 90,38% with very good categories, there was increase student activity from the previous with differences 6,73%. It can be concluded that the hypothesis in the this study is “if the applied learning model of Problem Based Instruction (PBI) to improve learning result IPA Class IV SD Negeri 003 Sungai GuntungKecamatanRengatKabupaten Indragiri Hulu” to acceptable.Keywords :Leraning Model Problem Based Instruction (PBI) learning result of IPA

Abstract

This research was qualitative research with descriptive method. Subject was student teachers who took Fundamental Science 1. Based on validity analysis of item on 1 % significance level, there were 16 valid items, 26 valid ietms for 5 % significance level, and 14 invalid items. Then, analysis of distinguishing items, the item number 20 was very worst, 15 items were poor, other 15 item were fair and the other items were good. Meanwhile, analysis of level of difficulty, 17 item were very easy, 9 items were easy, 11 items were moderate, an item was difficult, and the others were very difficult. Abstract

This research is a quasi experimental research and design used is ARandomized Pretes-Postest Control Group Design. The subject of the researchdetermined by random toward experimental and control groups. The results of this studyshowed that there was differences class between implements the inquiry learning andconventional learning. Mean score N-Gain science of process skills students washighest in primary schools reached 0.29 A, while for the N-Gain lowest in primaryschools C of 0.15 As for the indicators of science-process skills, process skills of thehighest indicators in the experimental class there is the aspect of the hypothesis, whilethe lowest indicator contained in the aspect of the question. In the control class there areindicators that contained by aspects of the hypothesis while the lowest was on aspects ofobservation. The results visible experimental class science process skills results showedhigher levels of N-gain control of the class. The results in the experimental classsignificantly more improve students’ science process skills than conventional class.Keywords: Science Process Skills, Learning Science

Abstract

Abstract : The problem of the research is the low of the result of the students’ science study with average 46,67. Contextual Teaching and Learning Model gives the opportunity to students to improve the result of the science study of fourth grade students of SDN 001 Seikijang. The subject of the research is the fourth grade students of SDN 001 Seikijang of 2014 academic year. They are 30 students. The research is a Class Action Research which is done in two cycles. Each cycle is applied in twice meeting with once examination at the end of cycle. The collecting data instruments on the research are teacher observating paper, student observating paper and the examination of the end of cycle. The research is conducted in class action research, aimed to improve the result of the fourth students in science study learning of SDN 001 Seikijang. The result shows that Contextual Teaching Learning Model can improve the result of the students’ learning in science study. It is shown on the basic score of school average 46,67 with 23,33% classical result then increases in the school avarage 73,16 in the cycle I with 63,33%, classical result and increases 57,76% and on the cycle II the class average improves to 80,17 with 90%classical result, and improves from basic score to daily examination I 71,76%. The increase of the result of the study in supported by the increase of teacher and students activity. The teacher’s activity increases with 60,71% in cycle I to 85,71% in cycle II. The improvement of the first meeting of cycle I to second meeting of cycle II is 25%. It means that the learning result of fourth students’ in science study of SDN 001 Seikijang.Key words: Contextual Teaching and Learning (CTL), the result of science study.

Abstract

Abstract : the results of observation by the author on the study site, it can be seen that the learning outcomes IPA fourth grade students of public school 025 Tambusai yet reached KKM predetermined school is 75, where 32 students only 14 students who reach KKM predetermined with a percentage of 43.750, while 18 people or 56.25% of students still scored below the KKM has been assigned schools, with an average value of 67.66. Instrument research include syllabi, lesson plan, student worksheets. Results of student learning activities and the activities of teachers. Results of the study, showed the presence of peningkatanrata average student learning outcomes, where the base score, an average of only 66.67 student learning outcomes at the end of the first cycle increased to 77.03 an increase of 10.36 points, or 15.54%, and the second cycle into 83.13 with an increase of 16.46 points or 24.69%. Improving student learning outcomes in the classical style, in which the base score is the percentage of student learning outcomes classically produced is 43.75%, in the first cycle increased to 65.63% occurred an increase of 21.98%. Then on the second cycle increased to 93.75% with peningkatar, amounting to 28.12. Increased activity of the teacher in learning, in which the first cycle of the first meeting of the percentage of teacher activity 62.50%, and at the second meeting rose to 70.00, an increase of 7.50%. In the second cycle teachers meeting three activities increased to 82.50% an increase of 12.50%, and the fourth meeting rose to 97.59, an increase of 15.00%. Increased activity of students, where in the first cycle of the percentage of the first meeting, the student activity only 55.00% and in the second meeting increased to 72.50%. tedadi an increase of 17.50%. Then the second cycle of the third meeting of the percentage of students learning activity increased to 80.00%, an increase of 7.50% compared with the previous meetings, and at the fourth meeting of student learning activities also increased to 95.00% with an increase of 15.00%. the results of the study it can be concluded that the application of cooperative learning model Student Teams Achievement Divisions (STAD) to improve learning outcomes IPA fourth grade students in public primary schools 025 Tambusai Rokan Hulu can improve learning outcomes IPA.Key Words : Cooperative Learning Model Student Teams Achievement Divisions (STAD), IPA Learning Outcomes

Abstract

Abstract: This research aims to improve student learning outcomes in social studies in the subject matter of buying and selling activities within the home and school, with the application of role playing learning model in the third-grade students of SDN 183 Pekanbaru. The low learning outcomes third grade students of SDN 183 Pekanbaru in learning social studies is caused the teacher not applying the appropriate learning model in presenting the material. Making it difficult for students to understand the material presented teachers. The subjects were students of class III student with a numbers are all 38 people consisting of 14 men and 24 women. Parameters measured were the activities of teachers, student activities and student learning outcomes. The data were analyzed descriptively. Results of data analysis obtained by the percentage of the activity of teachers at the first meeting of the first cycle of 75% with the good category, the second meeting of the first cycle of 77.8% with the good category and at the first meeting of the second cycle percentage teacher activity 86.1% with a very good category, the second meeting of the cycle II percentage teacher activity which was 88.9% with very good category. At the first meeting of the percentage of student activity 61.1% with the good category, the second meeting of the first cycle is 77.8% with the good category and at the first meeting of the second cycle the percentage of student activity 80.6% with a very good category, the second meeting of the second cycle, namely 86.1% with very good category. And the score of students in the classical completeness basis is 39.5% (not complete), the first daily test classical completeness of students was 81.6% (completed), and the second daily test classical completeness students was 92.1% (completed). Based on this study concluded that the application of role playing learning model can increase student IPS learning outcomes.Keywords: Role Playing Learning Model, IPS Learning Outcomes

Abstract

Abstract: This research was conducted with the aim of improving PKn learning outcomes by implementing the role playing learning model for second grade students of SD Negeri 136 Pekanbaru. The low yield was due to the students’ learning during the teacher teaches rely on the lecture method. The learning model resulted in a lack of interest and motivation of students in PKn subjects, because the learning process is dominated by teachers and low student involvement in learning. This study was conducted in 136 SDN Pekanbaru in the second semester of the academic year 2014 / 2015. This classroom action research was conducted in SDN 136 Pekanbaru. As the subject of this research were students of class II SDN 136 Pekanbaru of students 41 consisting of 24 men and 17 women. This research was conducted in two cycles consisting of planning, action, observation, and reflection. The data analysis techniques implemented are the activities of teachers, students’ activity based on observation sheets, and student learning outcomes based on the UH each cycle. Result of learning using role playing learning models have increased from a base score to the first cycle and into the second cycle, in which the first cycle in the classical completeness obtained for 75.6% and in the second cycle increased to 95.1%. Improved learning outcomes obtained in the first cycle was 18.5% and the cycle II of 23.9%. Increased student learning outcomes are influenced by the activities of teachers and students in the learning process is getting better. In the first cycle of activity the teacher and student activity first meeting acquire enough categories, while the second meeting increased the very good categories. Furthermore, on the second cycle of activity of teachers and students’ activity is increasing so it got very good category. The conclusion of this research is the application of role playing learning model can improve student PKn learning outcomes of class II SDN 136 Pekanbaru on the material deliberations.Keywords: Role Playing Learning Model, PKn Learning Outcomes
