Abstract

Electric motors are much in use as a driver, especially the motor current (DC). One pengotrolan motors direct current (DC) is controlling the direction of rotation. in this case the direction of rotation of the electric motor control (DC) can be applied as the driving gate in everyday life, so as to open and close the gate can be done remotely with a web interface. With the use of computer technology is remote controlling a DC motor with a web interface as the driving gate. controlling the direction of motor rotation direction will be shaking the gate is open or closed. To be able dimamfaat output signal from the computer port required a series of small signal driver that can be used to drive the object to be controlled remotely so that it can mengerakan perputran motors. When relay 1 works then brush motor will get a positive voltage source positive and negative brush motor is connected to the negative pole of the voltage source. Thus, the motor will work the gate open. In the same way to move the contact relay 2, then the opposite conditions occur that the motor will rotate the opposite direction of rotation, so that the gate is closed.  Keywords: direct current motor, control, relay computer port.

WEB this particular internet technology can be used to overcome distance remote control system. In this case theauthor uses an object-oriented programming language is Visual Basic 6. For system expansion, it would be better touse a programming language that supports WEB such as ASP, Java or PHP. Abstract

Reliability is the ability of a system or component performs all the functions needed specific time period. Reliability Networking Local Area Network (LAN) is determined from the failure rate. This journal discusses Reliability Networking LAN analysis based on the value of the MTTF. This failure occurs on a physical disorder that includes transmission side include electric, ups, switches, transmission (fiber optic), converters, patch cords, connectors and others. The method that used in analyzing reliability is Distribusi Weibull. The calculation method of the Weibull distribution parameters using LSM. From the calculation, the shape parameter value is 1.9664 and scale parameter value is 3.4039. MTTF value of 0.9936 months, the uptime value of 11.0664 month, reliability value of 0.9222.Keywords : LAN, reliability, distribusi weibull.

Abstract

The use of electrical energy by the customers are still not optimum, especially in the evening at peak load periodes. One method to reduce the peak load by applying load management on the customer side (demand side management) which include are peak clipping (PC) and strategic conservation (SC). The analysis was focused on the household load i.e. lamp, television and fan in Pekanbaru. This thesis explores benefit of implementation peak clipping and strategic conservation programs in economic criteria by doing economic calculation at city scale and household appliances. Based on the calculation and analysis, by implementation of peak clipping’s and strategic conservation’s method on lamps, televisions and fans has the potential to result in economic benefits which in fifteenth year NPV becomes Rp. 188.675.730.000,-. Moreover, the implementation of strategic conservation on the each lamps and televisions also has potential result in economic benefits especially for household on fare groups R1/900-2200VA.Keywords : Peak clipping, strategic conservation, economic criteria

Abstract

Internet network that has been developed at this time is a network architecture based on TCP / IP.Each layer of the TCP / IP on the Internet provides an opportunity for a security hole. One of manyways of closing the security hole is to set the Access Control List (ACL) on the Internetwork layer.ACL is used to permit or deny the package from the host towards a specific purpose. ACL consistsof rules and conditions that determine and define the process network traffic at the router whetherthe package will be passed or not. Methods ACL is created on an existing VLAN network, thusincreasing the security of the network. Results of this research is with implement an ACL can blockinternet sites that can not be accessed by the user in a network. Then by applying ACL on VLAN,the access rights of a user on the network can be segmented, thus reducing the chance of spreading"a network virus" which can make a network busy.Kata kunci : TCP/IP Security, Virtual LAN, DHCP Server, Access Control List

Abstract

Interaktifitas merupakan bagian yang penting pada sebuah sistem pembelajaran jarak jauh. Interakifitas pada proses pembelajaran jarak jauh diwujudkan dalam dua bentuk interaksi pertama, interaksi individual antara peserta ajar dengan materi pembelajaran dan interaksi yang kedua menyangkut interaksi antara peserta ajar dengan nara sumber yang akan membantu peserta dalam memahami materi pembelajaran. Sistem yang disediakan harus dapat mendukung proses interaksi individual antara peserta didik dengan materi pembelajaran, atau interaksi dalam komunikasi antara sesama peserta didik dan pemateri dalam sebuah grup pembelajaran. Dengan mengoptimalkan penggunaan teknologi multimedia serta pemanfaatan elemen-elemen multimedia dan keunggulan yang dimilikinya maka akan menghasilkan sebuah antarmuka sistem dan aplikasi yang menarik, nyaman dan mudah digunakan, serta mampu mendukung bentuk-bentuk interaksi yang terjadi pada proses penyelenggaraan pembelajaran jarak jauh.Kata kunci : pendidikan jarak jauh, interaktifitas, interaksi, antarmuka, multimedia

Abstract

Sensor adalah suatu piranti konverter yang mengukur suatu besaran fisik dan mengubahnya ke dalam suatu sinyal yang dapat dibaca dari suatu pemgamatan.Untuk mengoperasikan suatu sistem rancang bangun miniatur pintu garasi yang bekerja secara otomatis dengan menggunakan Programable Logic Control, dalam hal ini perintah keluaran untuk mengeksekusi kerja dari suatu PLC, PLC tersebut membutuhkan sinyal input yang harus diberikan. Dalam hal ini maka dirancangan sistem input yang dapat bekerja secara otomatis terhadap objek yang akan dijadikan objek pengamatan. Dalam Perancangan sistem otomatis tersebut maka dirancang dan dibuat sistem sensor dengan menggunakan sistem pemancar dan sistem penerima. Sistem pemancar merupakan suatu peralatan yang memberi pengamatan terhadap objek yang akan di sensor dengan menggunakan Light Emisi Dioda (LED, kemudian sinyal diterima oleh sistem penerima untuk diteruskan ke bagian masukan Input PLC berupa Light Dependence Colektor (LDR). Sinyal dari LDR digunakan untuk mendriver relay untuk mengaktifkan kontak-kontak relay. Kontak-kontrak relay inilah yang memberi suatu perintah ke input PLC. Sinyal input dari PLC di proses dan keluaran berupa sinyal digital. Agar sinyal ini dapat digunakan maka diperlukan driver untuk menjalankan keluaran, dalam hal ini aktuator yang akan didrver adalah motor dc servo. Karena motor ini dimanfaatkan untuk membuka dan menutup pintu garasi secara otomatis, maka diperlukan suatu sistem penggerak motor sesuai yang diinginkan melalui rangkaian perintah yang saling interloking. Sementara objek output PLC adalah motor servo dc maka perintah interlocking dapat dilakukan dengan mengubah arah polaritas arus jangkar pada rotor mesin servo dc tersebut. Berdasarkan hasil pengujian sistem sensor input dan driver keluaran pada sisi output PLC yang telah dirancang dan dibuat mengindikasikan bahwa rancangan dan pembuatan rangkaian sensor dan driver penggerak motor dc servo bekerja dengan baik

Abstract

The development of Information Technology makes an information security is very important, especially on a network connected to the internet. The imbalance between every development of a technology is not accompanied by developments in the security system itself, thus quite a lot of systems are still weak. This weakness is able to create a threat, either from within or from outside. The security system used by the University of Riau today is the Firewall-DMZ security system that is a security system that controls, supervises, filters and identifies incoming traffic and protects servers that are accessible to the public. Intrusion Prevention System as a security system that can prevent a threat to the information network. Intrusion Prevention System (IPS) combines firewall techniques and Intrusion Detection System (IDS) methods very well. This technology can prevent attacks that will enter the local network by checking and recording all data packets and recognizing the sensor data packets, when an attack has been identified, Intrusion Prevention System (IPS) will deny access and record all identified data packets. The result of this research is to apply snort security system based on snort network of Riau University by simulating some attack experiments that are resolved well by IPS, so it can be a consideration for University Computer Center of Riau to implement security system which is automated in intranet and internet university Riau.Keywords : Intrusion Prevention System, IPS, IDS, Snort, Network Security, Network.

Abstract

PT. PLN (Persero) Garuda Sakti Substation is the center of power settings and load demand as the center of security equipment power system as well as the enter of the process of normalization of the disturbances in the territory of Pekanbaru. The goal of research to determine the quantity of fault,protection performance, and reliability of Garuda Sakti Substation. Besides, produce useful software to calculate the percentage of the quantity of fault, the precentage of protection performanceand reliability of the substation by long outages. Type of this research is qualitative descriptive. Thecalculation is done using software based Visual Basic 6.0. From the data obtained, in 2013-2014 occurred 20 times faults in Transformers and Transmission 150 kV. Protection system that works when the interruption occurs 20 times in the Garuda Sakti Substation at 2013-2014, there are five kinds of relay is: relay OVR / UVR, relay REF / SBEF, rele DF / DT, rele rele UVLS and the entire PMT 150 KV rele has a 100% reliability. Garuda Sakti Substation has good reliability because LOLPvalue in 2013 amounted to 0,234953 days per year and in 2014 of 0,09023 days per year (suitable with the standards of PLN below or equal to 3 days per year).Keywords: Fault, Protection, ENS, LOLP, Reliability Substation, Visual Basic 6.0.
