Abstract

This study attempted to determine the revenues of brown sugar and tapo sugar and to investigate the difference between these two revenues. A census sampling method for sugar producers was done, collected 30 respondents  i.e 15 respondents for brown sugar producers and others 15 for Tapo Sugar.  The hypothesis was that the revenue obtained from brown sugar was lesser than tapo sugar. The result showed that the average revenue from brown sugar is 498,449 IDR per month and Tapo is  2,437,639 IDR per month, t-test showed the t value is -6.982 with critical t value 2.048 which indicates that t value > critical t value, means there is a significant difference between the revenue of brown sugar with tapo Sugar in the Ambesia village, district Tomini Moutong Parigi region.

Abstract

Beef Abon is made from shredded beef mixed with spices and favorite to all ages,  this Abon is very familiar among Indonesian that bring apparently business opportunity to people. This study aimed to study the cost, the amount of production, selling prices and revenues received during this Abon business reached its break-even point. Results showed that  beef Abon products sell in a 500 g packaged reaches the break-even point at  33 packs, selling price shall be 137, 500 IDR per pack with revenue of  4,537, 500 IDR;  and a 400 g package reaches its break-even point at 30 packs, the selling price  is 110,000 IDR  with  revenue of  3,300,000 IDR, for a 250 g package the  break-even point reaches 32 packs, selling price is 68, 750 IDR per pack and revenue is  2,232,000 IDR, for a 200 g package the break-even point is 31 packs , the selling price will be  55,000 IDR  with revenue of  1,705,000 IDR, and a 100 g package  has  break-even point at 31 packs and selling price of  27,500 IDR per pack with revenues  of 852,500 IDR.

Abstract

Melalui agroindustri, pengolahan buah nangka dapat meningkatkan nilai tambahnya. Sehubungan dengan hal tersebut, maka dilakukanlah penelitian ini dengan tujuan untuk mengetahui besarnya penerimaan, pendapatan dan nilai tambah yang diperoleh dari pengolahan buah nangka menjadi keripik nangka pada industri rumah tangga Tiara di Kota Palu. Penelitian ini dilakukan pada Bulan Juni-Agustus Tahun 2012. Penentuan sampel dalam penelitian ini ditetapkan secara purposive, karena industri rumah tangga Tiara merupakan industri yang berproduksi secara kontinyu dan produksinya besar. Responden sebanyak 4 orang, yaitu 1 orang pimpinan dan 3 orang tenaga kerja.  Jenis data yang digunakan adalah data primer yang diperoleh dengan wawancara dan data sekunder dari instansi terkait. Data yang terkumpul selanjutnya dianalisis dengan analisis pendapatan dan analisis nilai tambah metode Hayami. Hasil penelitian menunjukan bahwa penerimaan yang diperoleh industri rumah tangga Tiara dalam memproduksi keripik nangka selama Bulan Juli Tahun 2012 sebesar Rp. 58.500.000, pendapatan sebesar Rp. 36.307.614,25 dan nilai tambah sebesar Rp. 33.169/kg.

Abstract

Palu fried onion is one of the leading commodity in Palu. Unlike the other onions from Java,fried onions from Palu, Sigi, and even Donggala have a unique taste and aroma. This study aims to determine the physical production, the cost of production, selling price and the amount of revenue that the CV Duta Agrolestarireceived on fried onions in thebusiness. Therefore the business achieve break-even point. The results indicate that on average the business produce about 2600 kg fried onions per month. CV Agro Lestari must pay the total cost of production without packaging of Rp . 283.655.960. With the price of Rp.160.000/kg, obtained revenue about Rp.416.000.000, so the average income earned about Rp.132.344.040. The results of the analysis showed that the fried onions business of CV. Duta Agrolestari will achieve the break-even point if the revenue reached Rp.30.720.000/bulan or on average production reached as much as 192 kg per month, with a selling price of Rp.160.000/kg .

Abstract

Plantation commodities that are capable of supporting the establishment of some industries are coconut trees (Cocos nucifera L). Coconut has a broad usability as a raw material for other than food and non food industries as well as household consumption. Utilization of coconu not only as coconut oil but there are several other coconut products sale in the international trade market, such as grated coconut, fresh coconut, coconut charcoal, coconut sugar and coconut oil known as Virgin Coconut Oil (VCO). The purpose of this study was to analyze: (i) the total cost of production, (ii) the amount of physical production, (iii) the selling price, and (iv) the amount of revenue that the UKM pengais Jaya Virgin Coconut Oil (VCO) received, so business can achieve break-even point. The study location and sampling was determined by intentionally (purposive) by the leaders of UKM PengaisJaya Virgin Coconut Oil scavengers in the Ampibabovillage. The analytical tool used in this research was the analysis of break-even point. The results showed that the highest break-even point achieved at the product Virgin Coconut Oil (VCO) obtained from the sale of product for 1000 ml bottle was Rp. 4,121,007, or approximately 50.64 %, on the second level obtained in bottles of 500 ml equal to Rp 2,409,605 or approximately 29.61 %, and the smallest revenue obtained in the packaging of 250 ml, only of Rp . 1,606,40 or approximately 19.74%.

Abstract

This study aims to determine the affect of land area, seed, fertiliser and labor to the local Palu onion production in the village Oloboju Biromaru Sigi Sub District Sigi District andthe incomes of local Palu onion farming at village Oloboju Sub Biromaru Sigi District Sigi. Respondents used in this study were 30 respondents or 13.82 % of the 217 households that farming oflocal Palu onion by using simple random sampling. The analysis showed that the simultaneously land area factor (X1), seeds (X2), fertilizer (X3) and labor (X4) very significant effect on farm production local Palu onion farming, with an F-count > F- table ( 299.354 > 2.76 ) at the α level of 5 % signicancy. The test results show that the t-test was highly significant on land area with t-> t -table (8.098 > 2.756), the seed was highly significant with  t-count > t-table (5.869 > 2.756), fertilizer was highly significant with t-count > t -table (3.978 > 2.756) and a significant on labor with t --count > t -table (2.836 > 2.756), respectively at the 1 % level α. The revenue analysis results showed that the average income of the respondent of Local Palu onion farmers Oloboju village in single growing season was Rp 59.913.000/ 0,67 ha or Rp89.511.454/ha.

Abstract

Penelitian ini bertujuan untuk mengetahui berapa besar pendapatan yang diperoleh dan tingkat perbedaan pendapatan pada pedagang kelapa muda di Kelurahan Tatura Utara dan Kelurahan Talise Kota Palu. Penelitian dilaksanakan di Kelurahan Tatura Utara dan Kelurahan Talise Kota Palu, pada bulan Agustus sampai dengan September 2012. Penentuan responden menggunakan metode Sensus, Data yang digunakan berupa data primer dan sekunder. Analisis data yang digunakan adalah Analisis Pendapatan dan Analisis Perbandingan Uji t. Hasil Penelitian menunjukkan bahwa pendapatan rata-rata yang diperoleh pedagang kelapa muda di Kelurahan Tatura Utara sebesar Rp. 5.952.660, atau dalam 1 bulan sebesar   Rp. 2.976.330, sedangkan rata-rata pendapatan pedagang kelapa muda di Kelurahan Talise sebesar Rp. 5.590.025, atau dalam satu bulan sebesar Rp. 2.793.013. Hasil Uji t membuktikan bahwa perbedaan pendapatan antara pedagang kelapa muda di Kelurahan Tatura Utara dengan pedagang kelapa muda di Kelurahan Talise berbeda tidak nyata yaitu nilai t-hitung sebesar 0,155 t-tabel pada  0,05 (2,093).

Abstract

Penelitian ini bertujuan mengetahui faktor-faktor yang mempengaruhi produksi dan pendapatan usahatani padi sawah dengan Pola Jajar Legowo di Desa Laantula Jaya, Kecamatan Witaponda, Kabupaten Morowali. Penentuan responden dilakukan dengan menggunakan metode acak sederhana (simple random sampling). Jumlah sampel yang diambil dalam penelitian ini yakni sebanyak 30 responden dari populasi yang berjumlah 87 KK yang menerapkan pola tanam jajar legowo. Hasil Analisis Fungsi Cobb-douglas menunjukan bahwa secara simultan (bersama-sama) faktor luas lahan, benih, pupuk, tenaga kerja, dan pengalaman usahatani.  Berdasarkan hasil pengujian menunjukkan Fhitung = 198,09 dengan nilai sig 0,000 < 0,005 (α = 5 %) menunjukkan menolak hipotesis nol, artinya variabel bebas luas lahan (X1), benih (X2), pupuk (X3), tenaga kerja (X4), dan pengalaman berusahatani (X5) secara simultan (bersama-sama) mempengaruhi produksi gabah kering panen di Desa Laantula Jaya Kecamatan Witaponda. Hasil analisis pendapatan menunjukan bahwa penerimaan yang diperoleh petani padi sawah di Desa Laantula Jaya adalah sebesar Rp. 17.706.084,68/ha, total biaya atau Rp. 8.939.083,95/ha sehingga diperoleh pendapatan petani responden sebesar  Rp. 8.767.000,73/ha dalam satu kali musim tanam.

Abstract

This study aimed to determine the effect of inputs on sweet corn production and to determine the efficiency of input use of sweet corn production in Maku Village Dolo Sub District Sigi Regency. The number of respondents was 31 farmers selected from 96 farmer population using a simple random sampling method. Cobb-Douglas production function and price efficiency analysis were performed to analyze data obtained. The analysis showed that simultaneously and partially land (X1), seeds (X2), fertilizer (X3), pesticides (X4) and labor (X5) were found to have very significant effect on the production of sweet corn. The use of land area (X1), fertilizer (X3) and pesticides (X4) had not yet been efficient, while that of seeds (X2) and labor (X5) were not efficient.   Key Words : Cobb-Douglass function, efficiency, production input Influence.

Abstract

The research was conductedin Ampana Tete sub district of Tojo Una-Una regency. This research aimed to(1)determine the income of corn farming system,and (2) determine the development strategy for developing corn agribusiness in Ampana Tete sub district of Tojo Una-Una Regency. Samples were taken by a random sampling method. Fourty respondents were selected from farmer population of 357 people. The tools for data analysis were income, SWOT and QSPM analysis. The income of the farming system was found to be IDR 6,143,974/ha/planting season in average. SWOT analysis results indicated that the appropriate strategy in the development of agribusiness corn is a S-O strategy (Strength-Opportunities) supporting an aggressive strategy, with strategy formulation (1) increaseing production by using or adopting appropriate agricultural technologies, (2) increasing land potency and utilizing government support to increase production; and (3) creating partnership with the industry or government to obtain market and equipments needed. The QSPM analysis results suggested that the best strategy is that increasing production by using or adopting appropriate agricultural technologieswith a total value of attractiveness (TAS) of 5.850Keywords: Corn Agribusiness, development strategy, and income.
