Abstract

Tamantirto Village is a village with a population of 728 categories of poor households (28.46%). To reduce the level of poverty which is done by providing knowledge and skills of local resource utilization in the community. Transfer of knowledge and technology conducted by extension, practice, creation of demonstration plots as well as comparative studies. Knowledge and presence will include fish farming, household waste management, recognition and processing of medicinal plants into instant beverage and syrups. The result is a rural communities of Tamantirto was service capable of freshwater fish culture technologies and conduct intensive cultivation with a pool  tarp.  Capable  of  processing  organic  waste  into  compost  and  liquid fertilizer and manage of inorganic waste. Rural communities recognize a variety of  medicinal  plants  in  the  environment  and  can  process  them  into  instant beverages  and  syrups.  Society  has  increased  the  quality  of  life  of  its environmental cleanliness and income

Abstract

French beans are foodstuff from agricultural products that are useful, for nutrient sources that needs continue to increase to rise as cunsumed by the whole society, so it needs to be improved productivity, for example by the giving of PGPRM. This reseacrh aims to determine the most appropiate time when giving the PGPRM which give growth and yield the best french beans. This reseacrh was conducted at the experiment station Mercu Buana University Faculty of Agroindustri Yogyakarta, located in Gunung Bulu, Sedayu, Bantul, Yogyakarta in February-April 2015. This reseacrh uses a single factor experimental design with 4 treatments were arrenged in the field using a completely randomized design (CRD) with 3 replications, namely Giving PGPRM at the time of preparation of the seed; Giving PGPRM at the planting time; Giving PGPRM one week after planting; and Giving PGPRM during vegetative growth, given once a week. The results from the reseacrh showed that while giving PGPRM (Plant Growth Promoting Rhizospheric Microorganism) effect on growth and yield french bean, that giving PGPRM once a week at the vegetative stage of growth showed a better french beans and giving PGPRM in preparing french bean seeds provide results better.Keywords : French beans, PGPRM (Plant Growth Promoting Rhizospheric Microorganism), The exact timing of PGPR

Abstract

France Stringbean is one of good variaty vegetables which is export commodity. It has high consumption rate so that it needs to be risen of its growth and crops. One of the ways is by using various planting media and giving PGPRM. The purpose of this research is to learn the effects of planting media to the growth and the crops of France String Bean. This research conducted in the experiment garden of Agro Industry Faculty of Yogyakarta Mercu Buana University which is in the 90 meters above the sea level. This research uses Experimental Single Factor with eight different treatments which is arranged into RAL (Rancangan Acak Lengkap) by three times repetitions. The experiment factors are Sand+Soil+Compost (1:1:2) without PGPRM, Sand+Soil+Compost (1:1:1) without PGPRM, Sand+Soil+Compost (2:1:1) without PGPRM, Sand+Soil+Compost (0:1:1) without PGPRM, Sand+Soil+Compost (1:1:2) with PGPRM, Sand+Soil+Compost (1:1:1) with PGPRM, Sand+Soil+Compost (2:1:1) with PGPRM, Sand+Soil+Compost (0:1:1) with PGPRM. The result of this research showed that planting media and PGPRM do not have any differentiations to all variables of the growth and the crops of France String Bean.Keywords : France String Bean, Planting Media, PGPRM, growth, crops

Abstract

Gilangharjo village is a village with diverse tourism potential which lies between the golden triangle area of Bantul. Besides, Gilangharjo village alsohas a high potential in agriculture, even the dry land such as large gardens andyards with the main results of bananas and fisheries. However, these lands havenot been fully utilized yet. In accordance with the mission of Village Gilangharjo, which is to strengthen the productive group institutionally business in small food industry now has been developed. Based on the analysis results of the situation, it is identified that problems faced by food Small Medium and Enterprises (SMEs) in the village Gilangharjo, specifically in Jodog and Karanganom village-district, are the absence of the processing technology implementation for diversified food processed product based on local food, improper food production and packaging process, as well as not-well-organized business and finance management. The purpose of the activity proposed is to raise awareness of the public, especially members of the SME I and SME II, in improving food diversification based on local food. Method of implementation is divided into stages of (i) coordination and tools preparation, (2) science and technology application which is consisted of socialization, education and training, as well as monitoring and evaluation steps. Counseling given to the society are about packaging and labeling, food safety and good production process, manufacturing process of catfish and bananas, production and finance management, and ended by evaluation using a questionnaire instrument. Questionnaire results showed that counseling and training activities are able to enhance the knowledge and skills of local food processing, specifically catfish and banana. By this activity, the members of both SME I and SME II are motivated to increase production of processed food based on local food, specifically catfish and banana,either in groups or individually

Abstract

Rabbani Wahed Dance is a traditional dance that grows and develops in Samalanga, Bireuen, Aceh. The Rabbani Wahed dance was inspired by Meugrobs movements and poetry which is originated from the practice of the Tarekat Shammaniyah. This dance serves as a media for preaching Islam and contains the value of religious character. This study aims to find out the religious values that contained in Rabbani Wahed dance. In addition, Qualitative method is used in this research. The location of the study was conducted at the Seulanga studio, Sangso village, Samalanga, Bireuen. Data collection techniques are carried out by observation, interviews, and documentation. Data validation techniques use the source triangulation. Moreover, the data analysis techniques are carried out by data reduction, data presentation and data verification. The results of the study concluded that the religious value of Rabbani Wahed dance contained in the poem, including the verse of Saleum that explains about mutual respect, Bismillah illustrates about the goodness, Salatullah talks about praise of the Prophet and obedience to Allah, Attahiyatoen explains about obedience to parents, Allah Rabbani explains the faith to Allah, Sultan Maujuddoen says about the power of Allah, Din Awai Din illustrates about knowing of Allah and the verse of Allahu explains about the majesty of Allah.

Abstract

AbstrakMop-Mop dalam bahasa Aceh yang berarti mengunyah, seni pertunjukan ini dikatakan Mop-Mop karena tingkah laku pemainnya yang lucu ketika berakting dengan mulut monyong kedepan seperti orang mengunyah makanan. Kesenian Mop- Mop diangkat dari keseharian masyarakat dalam berumah tangga, yang terkadang sering terdapat perselisihan antara suami istri. Penelitian ini mengkaji faktor-faktor yang menghambat pelestarian kesenian Mop-Mop dan Upaya-upaya yang dilakukan dalam melestarikan kesenian Mop-Mop. Penelitian ini merupakan penelitian lapangan yang pengambilan datanya melalui obrservasi langsung dan wawancara mendalam dari informan-informan kunci. Hasil Penelitian menyimpulkan bahwa adapun faktor-faktor penghambat dalam melestarikan kesenian Mop-Mop diantaranya yaitu (1) faktor ekonomi (2) faktor usia, (3) faktor jarak, (4) faktor kurangnya undangan untuk mengisi acara-acara hiburan, (5) faktor kurangnya perhatian dari pemerintah, (6) faktor kurangnya apresiasi masyarakat terhadap kesenian Mop-Mop, (7) faktor agama, (8) faktor kurangnya pengetahuan generasi muda terhadap kesenian Mop-Mop. Oleh karena itu, diperlukan beberapa upaya atau langkah nyata dari masyarakat khususnya pemerintah agar kesenian ini bisa tetap lestari di tengah-tengah arus modernisasi dan globalisasi seperti sekarang, diantaranya: (1) pemerintah memberikan perhatian lebih kepada kesenian Mop-Mop, (2) masyarakat khususnya generasi muda mempunyai kesadaran (berpartisipasi) dalam melestarikan kesenian Mop-Mop, (3) sanggar Meurak Jeumpa Aceh beserta pemerintah untuk bisa melengkapi dan memperbanyak buku-buku tentang kesenian Mop-Mop, (4) seniman Mop-Mop senantiasa mengajak anak-anak disekitar lingkungan para seniman untuk berpartisipasi dalam latihan Mop-Mop. Mop-Mop adalah bagian dari kekayaan kesenian di Aceh. Seharusnya memperoleh ruang perhatian untuk direvitalisasi, kesenian Mop-Mop sekarang sudah sangat langka dan perlu perhatian khusus agar kesenian ini tetap diakui keberadaannya. Kata kunci: Pelestarian, kesenian Mop-Mop MOP-MOP ART CONSERVATION IN THE DISTRICT NORTH ACEHAbstractMop-Mop in Aceh language which means chewing, is a funny performing arts as the players perform amusing shapes of mouth like chewing food while acting. It comes from daily marriage life which reflect common domestic argumentation. This study examines the factors that inhibit the preservation of Mop-Mop art and the efforts in preserving it. This study is categorized as field research and the data were gained through direct observation and in-depth interviews with the key informants. The result of this study concludes that the inhibiting factors in preserving Mop-Mop art are: (1) economic factor (2) age factor, (3) distance factor, (4) lack of invitation to perform the Mop-Mop art, (5) lack of attention from the government, (6) less public appreciation of Mop-Mop art, (7) religious factors, (8) factors of youth’s lack of knowledge on Mop-Mop art. Therefore, it takes some concrete efforts or steps from the public, especially the government so that this art can be sustainable in the midst of the current modernization and globalization, such as: (1) the government gives more attention to the art of Mop-Mop, (2) the community Especially the young generation have awareness (participate) in preserving Mop-Mop art, (3) Meurak Jeumpa Aceh studio and government to be able to equip and reproduce books about Mop-Mop art, (4) Mop-Mop artists always invite children Around the environment of artists to participate in Mop-Mop rehearsal. Mop-Mop is a part of the valuable art in Aceh. Since Mop-Mop performing art is very rare, it needs revitalization. Thus, it needs special attention so that this art can exist and recognized.Keywords: preservation, Mop-Mop art
