Abstract

In the implementation of construction, during this type of mortar of the new indicator is based on water-resistant and not waterproof. However, besides the function to actually hold water, mortar functions also have a burden. Often required in the implementation of that day in the walls of a maximum of 1 meter regardless of the composition of the mortar mix used. This is because the lack of discussion of the strength of mortar. Abstract

For supporting the activity of society in Semarang, a city with very large area and population spread, so it is required transportation facility much. With the different society economy grade condition in fulfillment transportation facility necessity, one of the facilities required is Public transportation. Up to now the necessity of load public transportation in Semarang has been served by some kinds of vehicle with different destination (route). One of destinations which is being developed is public transportation by using medium bus with destination of Bukit Kencana to Mangkang. The purpose of this research is to find out the load factor, frequency, headway, keeping watch (waiting) time, vehicle speed, time range of journey and the vehicle age which operate with destination of Bukit Kencana to Mangkang. Whereas the objective of the research is to evaluate the way in which public transportation using medium bus with destination Bukit Kencana to Mangkang operates. The research method used is field research by collecting data relating with the way in which the service operation including load factor, frequency and headway, keeping watch time, speed, time trip, and the age of vehicle. The result of the survey and the data analysis present that the way in which public transportation using medium bus with destination of Bukit Kencana to Mangkang operation is good enough with the following conditions: Maximum keeping watch time reaches 31 minutes, The sum of served passengers on holiday is 281 persons/day, Vehicle utilization is 181, 67 km/day, Availability on holiday is 64,29 %, Speed on an average is 20,50 – 23,15 km/hour , Time range of journey is 86,25 – 91,11 minutes, Mean of Load factor Bukit Kencana to Mangkang is 62,06 % and Mean of Load factor Mangkang to Bukit Kencana is 63,61 %, Vehicle age on an average is 5 years. Abstract

SNI 03-1726-2002 mentions that the seismic requirements for building construction design should be based on 4 accelerograms from 4 different earthquake events. One of them is El Centro (California, 1940). In 2010, Indonesian Earthquake revision team defined a new seismic hazard maps. Those efforts have led to revisalSNI 03-1726-2002, because after 2002, there was earthquakes, whose magnitude was bigger than the estimation before. This study will analyze the spectrum response that will be showed through maps of amplification factor distribution and acceleration spectrum on Semarang city area. From those maps, amplification factor value of El Centro earthquake will be compared to the others (Hector Mine, Kobe, and Loma Prieta). Also the comparison of acceleration spectrum value ( PGA, T=0.2, T=1) that caused by Earthquake El Centro and the others. The last is the comparison of  spectrum response that was the result of this study and the spectrum response from SNI 03-1726-2002.

Abstract

The implementatation of the construction works especially on linear construction usually have challenge to plan an effective schedule without disruptionand cost efficiency with outreducing the quality. Several methods of  project scheduling includes: Bar Chart, Network Diagram (CPM, PDM), and linear scheduling method (Time Chainage Diagram).The purposes of this study are to find the general scheduling method of project, to compare and to perform simulation of each type of schedule, and to analyze the strengths and weaknesses of each type of schedule. Data of project schedule was collected from 3 linear projects.  Analysis,  elaboration  and  comparison  of existing schedule was performed. Bar Chart is converted into CPM, PDM and Time Chainage Diagram. The results showed that the Bar Chart is still commonly used in construction projects, Network Diagram are proven to be powerful scheduling and suitable  for  complex  projects because it has the reliability in showing the  relationship  among  activities and the critical path of project activities, and  Linear  scheduling method  are  suitable  for  linear project  because  it can  detect  obstacles or conflicts  among  activities.  To  over come weaknesses of eachtype of  schedule, it should be combined  among    types of  schedule. Recommendations for further study are the use of each type of schedule which is suitable with characteristic of projects, and for further more it could be need more study to improvement the feature of time scheduling methods.

Abstract

Warhol Residences Apartment is one of the candidates for the skyscrapers that will soon be built in strategic areas Simpang Lima Semarang. These Apartments are located at No. 137 Ahmad Yani Street Semarang. By carrying out the minimalist and modern design, these apartments are expected to meet the needs of the residents of Semarang and foreigner the comfortable dwelling. In this thesis, Warhol Residences apartment’s structure is designed based on the method SRPMK or Special Moment Frame Structure bearers. The main guidelines in this plan are taken from Concrete SNI 03-2847-2002 and RSNI 03-1726-2010 Earthquake. The modeling is made, performed using software Extended Three-Dimensinal Analysis of Building Systems (ETABS) version 9.2.7. Beside that, it also use some other kind of supporting software such as Structure Analysis Program 2000 (SAP 2000), PCACOL, and Auto Cad. Some work items are taken into account include the overall structure of the work of both Primary and Secondary element. Primary structural elements include: Beams, High Beams, Columns, Shearwall / Corewall, joint and Bore Pile Foundation. While the secondary elements are: the plates, and the plate Basement Walls, Stairs, Ramp, and Lift. The analysis showed that the structure of the apartment safe and capable Warhol Residences accounted for analytically.

Abstract

Bawen terminal development of type B to type A are appropriate for realization in because there are many passengers in the morning and evening when the activity go and return from work in the industrial area located in Semarang district bawen terminal, and for the development of the terminal between the development cost benefit in the can, get back up on the planed budget. Based on the estimated construction costs and financing and management, as well as earnings estimates, Net Benefit Cost Ratio is calculated with current prices the analysis of the complete project. Income tax is calculated in a accordance with the applicable rate of 10% for the first Rp. 50.000.000,00, 50% to Rp. 50.000.000,00 next and 30% for nett income above Rp. 100.000.000,00 tax use only on the year shows earnings. When the company suffered a loss in a year, the losses can be compensated in earnings year up to 5 year later. Before known LHRT MT Haryono road in 2018, need known in 2018 PDRB figures by calculating the future value PDRB in 2011. Annual PDRB growth rate is calculated by averaging the rate PDRB in 2007 to 2011.

Abstract

Kolonel Imam Suparto street has an important role for the economic growth in Subdistric of Tembalang. Recently, this road has catastrophic landslide. It is quite alarming. Degradation of this road as an impact of landslide is very danger for the safety of driver who pass through this way. After slope stability analysis using Fellenius method is performed, it is shown that the SF or safety factor of the slope is 0,891. By using PLAXIS 8.2 , it is shown that the SF is 1,37. Both of this point indicated that the slope stability is in a critical condition or very risk for landslide. So, a precise solution is needed to push the landslide risk by increased the safety factor of that slope. The alternatives that used for this case by using  Retaining Wall (DPT)  type Cantilever Wall and Bronjong DPT or Bronjong is quite good for  solving the landslide.  It is founded that after reparation by using DPT type cantilever wall the safety factor is 1,93 and 1,77 by using Bronjong. DPT type cantilever wall is decided as the best solution between both alternatives. It is because the safety factor of DPT is higher than Bronjong.

Abstract

The purpose of planning the replacement of  the bridge is the first Tinjomoyo to the facilitate public access Tinjomoyo an increasingly crowded, and then to replace the steel bridge that was damaged because there is no control of the government for the cost of care is expensive and prone to corrosions and there fore the government has an alternative to replace the bridge permanently by using concrete bridge or concrete because of soil condition in the area tinjomoyo including hard ground and there fore the selection of the palm of shallow foundation and wells as a load – bearing, but it is not concrete in terms of treatment need special care such as steel concrete bridge corrosions. Event not experience in bridge construction is needed time of 32 weeks.

Abstract

Planning for earthquake resistant buildings are earthquake-resistant buildings shaken though maybe some buildings damaged when a massive earthquake but may remain standing. In designing earthquake-resistant structures necessary to review the methods of nonlinear structural properties (ductility, R, verification earthquake loads Vb). According to SNI  03-2847-2002, planning buildings to areas with high seismic risk using System Framework bearer Special Event (SRPMK). Moment Frame Systems bearer is a space frame system in which the structural components and join-joinnya resist the forces that work through the action of bending, shear and axial where the calculation of the structure of the frame bearer Special Event System is designed to use the concept of Weak Beam Strong Colomn designed so that the building can respond to earthquakes by developing joint mechanism of plastic on his logs and beam-column basis.

Abstract

Tirto Agung Intersections and the ramp Intersection of Section B Semarang Toll, they located in Prof. Soedarto, SH Street. The third intersection is an unsignalized intersection and has high traffic volume because it is ones access to education and a fairly dense residential area. Other that there is u-turn between ramp intersection Toll Road Semarang Section B dan Tirto Agung intersection that densely. With the problem affects the performance of the fall in traffic intersections. The purpose of this study was to analyze the performance and determine the pattern of traffic movements at each intersection. Primary data were collected by direct observation and survey on all three intersections. The observed data are geometric intersection, intersection volume, vehicle speed, long queues of vehicles, number of vehicles turning, turning vehicle duration, the identification of origin purpose from vehicle. The data obtained are used to analyze the performance of the intersection on the analysis of existing conditions and vehicle turning direction. The method of calculating the performance of intersections refer to Indonesia Jalan Capacity Manual 1997. The research results which are shown the greatest degree of saturation is the entrance intersection of Section B Semarang Toll with the analysis results 0,92 on existing condition. The degree of saturation can be falsified into 0,74 with a median implement an alternative solution extends the reach of Section B pathway Semarang Toll Road and broadening Prof. Soedarto, SH being 15.80 meters. But this solution only lasted two years only, so it becomes less meaningful.
