Abstract

The condition of 90Sr concentration in the East China Sea and North Pacific closed to the Japanese island has been measured from 3 – 31 July 2000. There were differences condition of 90Sr concentration in the those locations. The concentration of 90Sr detected in the surface East China Sea and North Pacific ranged 0.44–1.32 mBq/ℓ and 0.66-1.38 mBq/ℓ respectively. Generally, the condition 90Sr concentration in the East China Sea was lower than in the North Pacific. The highest 90Sr concentration occurred in the off shore of North Pacific, because the 90Sr in the open sea is dominantly from nuclear weapon testing and nuclear power plant accident (Chernobyl) rather than other resources, and it take long time to precipitate into the bottom. Kuroshio and Taiwan-Tsushima warm current systems influenced importantly in distribution of 90Sr concentration in the East China Sea beside other physical factors such as fishing activity. These currents were not strong enough to stimulate increasing 90Sr concentration in the coastal region of North Pacific close to the Japanese islands.

Abstract

This study aims to improve conceptual understanding of physics teacher candidates in school physics classes through the application of the generate-an-argument instructional model. Research carried out by using the design of Research and Development which is modified by using a mixed method design. School physics teaching tools developed based on the stages of the generate-an-argument instructional model. The research instrument consisted of a test conceptual understanding, observation sheet and student questionnaire. Subjects were students majoring in physical education at one of the contracting LPTK in Bandung school physics course I semester of odd academic year 2011/2012. The results showed an increase in conceptual understanding in the category of high-grade experimental and control class with the category of being. Activities of lecturer and students in the implementation of the learning accomplished by either category. Abstract

This study aims to develop the tools of school physics learning to improve conceptual understanding and argumentation ability for prospective physics teachers. This study was done toward physics education students of LPTK Bandung in semester III by using the design of Research and Development modified using the mixed method design. The steps of this study involves introductory study, development study, limited implementation, analysis, and report phases. The set of school physics learning programs was developed using the generate-an-argument model. The results of this study shows the presence of an increase in conceptual understanding for the experiment class by 0.72 in a high category and for the controlled class by 0.41 in a medium category. The argumentation ability of students develop well in a medium category. The students responded very positively to the learning model developed.Keyword :  School Physics, Conceptual Understanding, Argumentation Ability

Abstract

ABSTRACT The aim of this research is to determine the chromosomes number of snakehead fish (Channa striata) from floodplain area, highland swamp, and tidal land. The research has done on December 2013 until January 2014 at Laboratorium Pengembangbiakan dan Genetika Ikan, Department of Aquaculture, Faculty of Fishries and Marine Science, Bogor Agricultural Institute, Laboratorium Dasar Perikanan dan Laboratorium Budidaya Perairan, Study Program of Aquaculture, Agriculture Faculty, Sriwijaya  University and Laboratorium Fisiologis Hewan, Mathematics and Natural Science Faculty, Sriwijaya University, Indralaya. The research was conducted by means of direct observation and analyzed descriptive through making preparations chromosome squash methods. The results showed no difference in diploid (2n) chromosome number of snakehead fish floodplain area as much ranges 40-42, highland swamps ranges 36-40 and tidal land ranges 38-40 and it can be concluded that the chromosomes amount of snakehead fish           between 36-42.   Keywords : Channa striata, Chromosome, Floodplain area, Highland swamp, Tidal Land

Abstract

ABSTRACT The objective of this study is to know the best synthetic gonadotrophine hormon doses to stimulate the breeding of snakehead through observing the latent time, the number of eggs, and the percentage of fertilized eggs and the hatching percent of snakehead. This experiment was conducted in (UPR) Batanghari Sembilan in North Indralaya sub-district in Ogan Ilir regency on January until February 2015. The design of this study was completely randomized design which having three different treatments of different doses of hormone given. The doses treatments were P1 = 0.2 ml/kg fish, P2 = 0.4 ml/kg fish and P3 = 0.6 ml/kg fish with each male and female parent of fish was injected three treatment trhee times for each treatments. The result of this experiment showed that utilization of synthetic gonadotrophine hormone with different doses had significant different effect to hatching percentage did not significantly different (P<5%) to latent time, the amount of eggs, and fertilized eggs percentage of snakehead. In this experiment, the treatment P1 was the best terms of four parameters which were the latent time (27.70 hours), the amount of eggs (6,668 eggs), the fertilized eggs percentage (99.75 %), and hatching percentage (78.47 %). Futhermore, the value range of water quality during the experiment were temperature 28-320C, pH 3.7-7.0 and dissolved oxygen 3.08-5.76 ppm. Abstract

ABSTRACT The aims of this research was to study Gonad Maturity Level (GML), Index Gonado Somatik (IGS), absolute fekundity and egg diameter of Channa striata injected with the Human Chorionic Gonadotropin hormone. The research was conducted in 26th of December 2013 until 26th of January 2014 at the Fish Hatchery Unit (FHU) Batanghari Sembilan, North Indralaya District, Ogan Ilir, South Sumatra. Channa striata which as used had weights 85-105 gram per fish. The experiment was arranged in a Completely Randomized Design (CRD), (P0) No injection of HCG, (P1) 200 IU per kg fish, (P2) 250 IU per kg fish, (P3) 300 IU per kg fish. Parameters observed Gonad Maturity Level (GML), Index Gonado Somatik (IGS), absolute fekundity and egg diameter. From the four treatment experiment, P3 treatment produced the highest GML V whose the percentage was 20%, while P0 treatment did not reach GML IV and V, most of the P0 treatment (80%) only reached GML II. Based on further test of Duncan Signipicant Differences with 95% credibility level, the IGS data of Channa striata was significantly different and influential among treatments, the smallest IGS was produced from P0 treatment that is 0.43% while the largest IGS was produced from P3 treatment that is 5.91%. The smallest absolute fecundity was on the P0 treatment which was 582 eggs while the largest was on P3 treatment that is 5,775 eggs. The smallest egg diameter was on the P0 treatment which was 0.35 mm while the largest was on P3 treatment that is 0.93 mm. Hormone HCG injections of 300 IU per kg weight of the fish proved to be finalizing a Channa striata gonad.   Keywords : Channa striata, HCG hormone, GML, IGS, egg diameter

Abstract

Communication can be the media of proximity of parents and children. Parents will feel comfortable because they feel the child needs and love him. Conversely, the child will feel happy to get the attention of his parents. The development of communication technology led to a new style of communication style. Parent and child communication is no longer done face-to-face at the dinner table or in the living room. The role of interpersonal communication of parents and children began to shift since the presence of a smart tool that was created able to perform many activities.Communication patterns between adolescent boys and girls tend to be different Young men and women have different tendencies in smartphone use. Female teenagers are more dominant using social media to upload good photographs with friends or photos themselves. Young men use smartphones to play games, download songs, movies or video clips. Teenagers in Indonesia (40-50 percent) is a community of hp (smartphone) users. Teenagers use social media that includes instant messengers like LINE, Instagram, Twitter and other apps like Facebook, Youtube, Vlog and more. There are three patterns of communication that parents do in limiting the use of smartphones in adolescents. Abstract

ABSTRACT             Climbing perch (Anabas testudineus) is a kind of swamp fish which is potentially to be cultivated. Photoperiod is one of factor that influence growth from culture fish larvae. Light also influence growth hormone and make larvae easier to eat their feed because larvae usually visual feeder. The aim of this research is to determine the best photoperiod in larvae of age 3 – 27 days so as to generate growth and survival rate climbing perch of larvae highest in aquarium with defferent of photoperiod. The usage of the research are expected that different photoperiod can influence the growth and survival of climbing perch larvaes. The research was conducted on April - May 2016 in Laboratory of Budidaya Perairan, Faculty of Agriculture, Sriwijaya University. This research methods used completely randomized design (CDR) with use six treatments and three replications of photoperiod those are P1(24L:0D), P2(18L:6D), P3(12L:12D), P4(6L:18D), P5(0L:24D). The parameters of this research are growth, survival rate of climbing perch larvae and maintenance of water quality. The result showed that photoperiod has significant effect of survival rate, weight growth and length growth from climbing perch photoperiod for 24 hours each day  (treatments P1) has the highest result for survival rate and growth 81.11%±2.01%,  30.68mm±0.14mm, 0.46g±0.04g. The value of water quality during larvae rearing were temperature 27 – 31 oC, pH 5.70 – 7.10, dissolved oxygen 4.56 – 7.58 mg.L-1 and ammonia 0.02 – 0.11 mg.L-1. Keywords: Climbing perch, Growth, Photoperiod, Survival rate

Abstract

ABSTRACT The problem of development of climbing perch culture was low in growth rate. The effort to increase growth rate of climbing perch is hormonal treatment, including the hormone thyroxine. The aim of this research was to determine the effective consentration and duration of immertion of thyroxine hormone to increase yolk sack absorbtion and growth rate. This research held in August to September 2014 in Laboratorium Dasar Perikanan, Aquculture Study Departement, Faculty of Agriculture, Sriwijaya University, Indralaya. This research using factorial completely rondomezed design with two factors, the first was thyroxine consentration with immersion media (K1=0.01 mg.L-1, K2=0.05 mg.L-1, K3=0.1 mg.L-1) and the second was the long immersion (W1=24 hours, W2=48 hours, W3=72 hours) with three replication. The parameters that observed were yolk sack absorption, growth, survival rate and water quality. The result showed that the highest yolk sack absorbtion was K2 (0.05 mg.L-1) and K3 (0.1 mg.L-1). The highest growth was K3W2 (0.1 mg.L-1 of consentration and immersion for 48 hours) with the weight was 316.1 mg and length was 26.56 mm. The best survival rate was 88.67% (K1W1). The value of water quality during larva rearing were temperature 26-28 oC, pH 5.6-6.5, dissolved oxygen 4.43-5.93 mg.L-1 and ammonia 0.00-0.03 mg.L-1   Keywords : Climbing perch larvae, thyroxine hormone, duration of immertion, growth

Abstract

Low natural resources that support the economy and the inability of people in access is one factor that makes many villagers unable to accumulate capital. Mobilization out of the village is the most logical step taken by villagers to keep them alive. The existence of job opportunities elsewhere and the condition of the village that is no longer conducive will affect the mobility patterns of household members in the village. This research aimed:1) Identify portraits of young villagers on the potential of Ciasmara Village Resources; 2) Identify the driving factors that make young people in rural areas migrate to the city. Quantitative method was used to processed the data using descriptive analysis to know the characteristics of respondents the data processed using the average score is the perception of youth against the village resources and the factors driving and pulling migration. This research found thatPortrait of young people towards Ciasmara Village Resources is generally considered good. In general the attraction of the City is greater than the appeal of the Village. There are four indicators of towing power of the City that is high salaries, the number of job options, the opening of vacancies and work more than one.
