Effectiveness Analyses of Fiscal Policy on Agricultural Sector Performance With Emphasises of Agroindustries in Indonesia

Abstract

The objectives of this research were analyzing the performance of agricultural  sector and agroindustry, relation between fiscal policy and performance of agricultural sector and agroindustry; analyzing fiscal policy instruments which were effective in influencing the agricultural sector performance and agroindustry performance, and relation between agricultural sector performance and agroindustry performance within fiscal condition of Indonesia. Data time series 1970.1 – 2005.5 were analyzed with Vector Error Correction Model (VECM).  Research results showed that decrease in the performance of agriculture sector occurred in all aspects and its role in the economy, and the same phenomena occurred also in agroindustry.  Instruments of fiscal policy which in the long term affect strongly the performance of agricultural sector and agroindustry were budgets for the following: sector of agriculture, agricultural research and development, agriculture infrastructure, and fiscal decentralization. Performance respond of agricultural sector and agroindustry toward shock  of fiscal policy instruments, to achieve stability, took relatively long period (9 and 8 years respectively). Performance respond of agroindustry toward shock of agricultural sector, to achieve stability, took 6 years period.  Instruments of fiscal policy which were in the long term effective in improving  agricultural sector performance were value added tax, agriculture subsidy, budget for agriculture research and development, budget for agriculture infrastructure, and fiscal decentralization.  Instruments of fiscal policy which were in the long term effective in improving the performance of agroindustry were income tax, value added tax, budget for agriculture infrastructure, and fiscal decentralization.  Performance of agricultural sector which had roles in affecting the variability of agroindustry performance were GDP of agriculture, export and import of agricultural products. Abstract

Telah dilakukan simulasi desain perisai radiasi MBE lateks 300 keV/20 mA menggunakan program MCNP5. Simulasi dilakukan untuk memperoleh data verifikasi desain perisai radiasi MBE lateks secara analitik. Dalam simulasi menggunakan program MCNP5 dibutuhkan masukan yang tepat agar memberikan hasil yang diharapkan. Masukan itu berupa bentuk dan intensitas sumber radiasi sinar X yang digunakan, bentuk geometri perisai radiasi dan komponen MBE lateks di dalam perisai, dan jenis bahan perisai dan komponen MBE lateks yang digunakan. Masukan tersebut kemudian dimodelkan menggunakan program VISED. Dalam simulasi ini sumber radiasi sinar X dimodelkan berbentuk segi empat tipis berada ditengah-tengah jendela Ti yang memancarkan radiasi secara isotropik. Selain itu komponen MBE lateks di dalam perisai dipandang sebagai pengganggu pancaran sumber radiasi X. Pengamatan intensitas teratenuasi dideteksi menggunakan 5 detektor titik talli (Tally) F5 yang diletakkan searah tebal perisai radiasi. Pengamatan distribusi sinar X pada perisai dideteksi dengan meletakkan banyak detektor pada permukaan bagian luar perisai. Dari hasil simulasi dan analisis data, diperoleh nilai tebal perisai Pb yang aman untuk menahan paparan radiasi MBE lateks 300 keV/20 mA yaitu > 2,5 cm. Di samping data tebal perisai, pada simulasi ini juga diperoleh nilai laju dosis pada berbagai permukaan perisai. Besar nilai laju dosis pada permukaan perisai bidang XZ sebesar 2,58 mrem/jam, dan pada permukaan perisai bidang YZ sebesar 2,88 mrem/jam. Perbedaan laju dosis ini disebabkan oleh pengaruh letak komponen MBE yang berada di dalam perisai radiasi sinar X.

Abstract

ABSTRACT: The role of technology in the greater world of education, this can be seen by the method of learning through e-learning program at the Vocational School, the teaching methods using the Internet media both in-line or online. SMK Negeri 6 Surakarta as the leading school and international standard of SMK, is working to build the E-Learning is used for online exams and online learning process and also build Siap6 as a medium used by students and teachers to the left to download and send the data materials, and other matter other inline. Job Training methods using observating, web designing, testing, data collecting techniques as primary data, secondary data such as physical cases from the teacher. At the final results have been obtained by two web-based application system is fairly representative by the name E-Viska at the address: http://e-viska.web.id and Siap6 on the local server with the address: http://192.168.0.1/siap6 . ABSTRAKSI: Peranan teknologi dalam dunia pendidikan semakin besar, hal ini dapat dilihat dengan adanya metode pembelajaran melalui program e-learning di Sekolah Kejuruan, yakni metode pengajaran dengan menggunakan media internet baik in-line maupun on-line. SMK Negeri 6 Surakarta sebagai sekolah unggulan dan bertaraf Internasional, tengah berupaya membangun E-Learning yang digunakan untuk ujian online dan proses belajar secara online dan juga membangun Siap6 sebagai media yang digunakan para siswa dan guru untuk mengunduh dan mengiri data bahan ajar, soal dan lain-lain secara inline. Metode Penelitian menggunakan observasi, rancang bangun web, uji coba, teknik pengumpulan data menggunakan data primer, sekunder dan bukti fisik soal dari guru. Pada hasil akhir telah diperoleh dua buah system aplikasi berbasis web yang cukup representative dengan nama E-Viska di alamat : http://e-viska.web.id dan Siap6 pada local server dengan alamat : http://192.168.0.1/siap6. Abstract

Densification and surface coating of kapok wood (Ceiba pentandra L. Gaertn ) have been conducted by pressing and followed by radiation curing of surface coatings using Ultra Violet (UV) light. Pressing was performed to get thickness reduction level of 15, 30, 45, 60 and 75 %. Coating was conducted using unsaturated polyester resin after mixing with 2,2-dimethyl-2-hydroxy acetophenone photoinitiator at concentration level of 1, 2 and 3 %b.w and titanium dioxide pigment. Irradiation was carried out at conveyor speed of 1, 2 and 3 m/minute. Pressing of wood up to 75% thickness reduction resulted in increasing of density significantly and decreasing of thickness swelling. At variation of photoinitiator concentration and conveyor speed used, the coating had pendulum hardness of 23-37 seconds, color value (white) with L = 61-79 %, gloss (60o) = 16-56 %, adhesion met the ASTM standard and resistant to chemicals and solvents used except against 10 % sodium hydroxide solution.Keywords: Densification, Ceiba pentandra L. PREPARATION AND PIGMENTED POLYESTER COATING OF SAW DUST PARTICLE BOARD USING ULTRAVIOLET IRRADIATION

Abstract

Experiments on the preparation and pigmented polyester coating of saw dust particle board have been conducted using ultra-violet (UV) radiation curing. The adhesive used for preparation of particle board was the mixture of eugenol and isoeugenol residue as by product of clover oil distillation. Dry saw dust (20 – 40 mesh) was mixed with adhesive at concentration of 16% b.w. The mixture then was hot pressed at 160, 170, and 180 kg/cm2, temperature of 160 °C for 30 minutes. Particle boards obtained have the density of 0.85 - 92 g/cm3, water content of 5.4 – 6.8 % and thickness swelling 45 – 62% ( 2 hr immersion) and unmeasurable for 24 hr immersion due to brittle condition. It was found that particle boards have properties of modulus of rupture = 64 – 71 kgf/cm2, modulus of elasticity = 402 – 447 kgf/ cm2, and internal bond of 0.52 – 0.57 kgf/cm2. Cured coating made of the mixture of polyester resin, photoinitiator (2 and 3% b.w) and pigment (1 and 2% b.w) on particle board and irradiated at 1 – 4 m/min have pendulum hardness = 25.0 – 63.9 sec, pencil hardness = HB – 2H, % remaining = 92 – 100 %, glossy = 42.3 – 58.8 %, and color value of L = 54.3 – 73.9, a = -1.3 – 1.9, and b = 0.4 – 3.3. The cured coatings resist to chemical, solvent and stain, except against 10% NaOH solution and red permanent marker stain.Keywords: Particle board, Coating, Polyester, Ultra violet irradiation.

Abstract

ABSTRACT: The Increasing Efforts Attitude For Net-Prenuer and Student Achievements at E-Commerce Subject Matter Using Project Work Model in  SMK 6 Surakarta in 2010/2011. One of the steps to face the job competition is to provide supplies to the students entrepreneurial skills. Equipping entrepreneurs to make them ready to work, ready to be independent, so that socio-economic problems can be reduced. One way to give the corresponding provision of the demand now is to teach entrepreneurship to use E-Commerce web. It means that students can be introduced to something new knowledge selling, trading via the internet based on Curriculum OF KTSP 2009, as contained in the Multimedia Department prepares students to be The Web Operator, then the competence of these students work ranging from making proposals, survey the field, taking pictures of products, negotiate with entrepreneurs, web design build, and upload to web hosting web. The Research Methods used descriptive and quantitative method through the portfolios of students work. Subjects were students SMKN 6 Surakarta Multimedia class XI. The technique of data collection using the questionnaire (before and after quizes) as  pretest and post test questions and student portfolios. The results showed the attitude of Net-Prenuer on students increases through the stages of treatment in cycle 1 for 3 class meeting : an active reflection of 17 students (47.2%), 69.4% and 72.2%. Through class meeting for three times in the cycle 2: shows the rate of activity is very active: 33.3% and is very active in the group reached 44.4%. The conclusion was that learning achievement areas of E-Commerce significant increase of 72% by value respectively 84.6 and 76.6 as many as 14 students by 22 students. Net-Preneurship understanding of student attitudes also increased simultaneously. Key Words : Net-Prenuer, E-Commerce Abstrak : Salah satu langkah untuk menghadapi persaingan kerja adalah dengan memberikan bekal kemampuan berwirausaha kepada anak didik.  Pembekalan berwirausahan (Entrepreneurship) dapat menjadikan mereka siap bekerja, siap mandiri, sehingga permasalahan social ekonomi dapat direduksi. Salah satu memberikan bekal yang sesuai tuntutan sekarang adalah mengajarkan berwirausaha dengan menggunakan web E-Commerce. Artinya siswa mampu dikenalkan pada sesuatu pengetahuan baru berjualan, bertransaksi melalui internet, sebagaimana terdapat pada KTSP 2009 bahwa program Multimedia salah satunya menyiapkan siswa menjadi Operator Web , maka dengan kompetensi ini siswa bekerja mulai dari membuat proposal, survey lapang, mengambil gambar produk, bernegosiasi dengan pengusaha, merancang bangun web, serta mengupload web ke web hosting. Metode meneliti menggunakan deskriptif dan kuantitatif melalui protofolio hasil karya siswa. Subyek penelitian siswa SMKN 6 Surakarta kelas XI Multimedia, teknik pengambilan data menggunakan kuisioner awal, soal pretest dan post test serta portofolio siswa.Hasil penelitian menunjukkan sikap Net-Prenuer pada diri siswa meningkat melalui tahapan perlakuan pada siklus 1 selama 3 kali tatap muka : refleksi aktif 17 siwa (47,2%) , 69,4% dan 72,2%. Melalui tatap muka selama tiga kali pada siklus 2 : menunjukkan angka keaktifan sangat aktif : 33,3%  dan sangat aktif  mencapai  44,4% secara kelompok. Kesimpulannya adalah prestasi belajar bidang E-Commerce naik signifikan 72% dengan nilai masing-masing 84,6 sebanyak 14 siswa dan 76,6 sebanyak 22 siswa. Pemahaman sikap Net-Preneurship siswa juga meningkat secara simultan.   Kata Kunci: E-Commerce, Net-Prenuer

CAPABILITY OF WATER AND ETHYL ACETATE FRACTIONS OF BENALU (Dendrophthoe L.f Ettingsh) LEAVES TO DISSOLVE CALCIUM KIDNEY STONE IN VITRO, DETERMINED USING FAST NEUTRON ACTIVATION METHOD

Abstract

Kidney stone disease is the second major causal leading to kidney failure. Treatment to the disease could be by surgery, ultravibration and either traditional or modern medecines. Dendrophthoe falcata (L.f) Ettingsh grow, as a parasite, on the mindi (Melia azeradach), a plant has yet been used to cure kidney disorder caused by calcium kidney stone. Dendrophthoe falcata (L.f) Ettingsh leaves powder was extracted by ethanol (70%) and re-extracted by ethyl acetate. The compound content in water and ethyl acetate fractions were analyzed by thin layer chromatography (TLC) using cellulose as the stationary phase and a mixture of butanol: acetic acid: water (4:1:5) as mobile phase. The TLC data showed that water and ethyl acetate fractions contained flavonoid compounds. Kidney stone was analyzed using Infra Red Spectrophotometer to identify its chemical contents. The result showed that the kidney stone consisted of calcium and magnesium carbonate/phosphate. The Fast Neutron Activation analysis was utilized to determine the solubility of kidney stone. The result exhibited that the maximum solubility of kidney stone was achieved in water fraction with the concentration of 20 % or in ethyl acetate fraction with the concentration of 40 %. The solubility of kidney stone in water fraction was higher than that in ethyl acetate fraction.Key word : Kidney stone , Dendrophthoe falcata , Water fraction, Ethyl acetat fraction.

Abstract

Kidney stone disease is common among Indonesian. Dendrophthoe pentandra L. Miq grow on petai (Lauchaena glauca L.), a plant parasite has yet been used as traditional medicine to treat, especially, kidney stone disiase. Fat free Dendrophthoe pentandra L. Miq leaves powder was macerated using ethanol (70%) followed by ethyl acetate. The Influence of Exchange Rate on CPO Exports of Indonesia

Abstract

This study analyzes the effect of the exchange rate (IDR to US Dollar) on Indonesian CPO exports using Error Correction Model (ECM). The result of ECM analysis showed that exchange rate has a weak effect on Indonesian CPO export. These were due to several things; first, it takes a time to produce CPO. Second, importers are unaware of price changes. Third, policy factors, such as refusal of Indonesian CPO in USA and imposition of high import duty tariff in France. Fourth, price factor of CPO substitution goods and negative issues in the palm oil industry. Fifth, Indonesian exporters were less creative in marketing CPO products than Malaysia. ECM analysis also resulted that CPO production and CPO prices have no effect on Indonesian CPO exports, while the price of soybean oil and CPO production in the previous month has a strong influence on Indonesian CPO exports. Indonesian CPO export is inelastic.
