Abstract

Shrimp is one of the leading commodity of fishery sector in Indonesia because the number of export increasing the foreign exchange for this country. In globalization era, business has fierce competition, so that the quality is a keyword to succeed. Therefore, shrimp hatcheries must be certified. The objectives are to: (1) study the related Good Hatchery Practices (GHP) regulation, (2) Analyze the relationship of application of GHP on shrimp hatchery performances, (3) measure the performance of shrimp hatcheries, (4) identify the Gap of the application of GHP. Content analysis, multiple regression analysis and important-performance analysis (IPA) was used to process the data. Result of content analysis showed that there were no regulation contain the obligation that every farmer must be certified in order to control the seed shrimp quality. Result of multiple regression analysis revealed that the application of GHP had positive impact on shrimp hatchery performances and the most influence factors were food safety and environment. Important-performance analysis showed that the best performance was the availability of adequate production equipment. Average production after applied the GHP principles showed that production increased by 19%. Level of concordance between expectation and performance on hatcheries to meet customer satisfaction and consistency of GHP implementation showed a negative gap value by -1.118, overall performance on hatcheries have not meet customer satisfaction and inconsistent implementing GHP principles

Abstract

One of the main factor which contributes why coastal communities cannot improve their economy is low capital. This is because they have limited access to capital and it might be true that bank give limited credit facilities to fisheries stakeholders. The objectives of this research are to: (1) identify the implementation process of Grameen Bank credit scheme from Lembaga Ekonomi Pengembangan Pesisir Mikro Mina Tani (LEPP-M3) Tuban cooperative; (2) identify constrains faced in giving credit on Grameen Bank scheme; (3) identify benefit offered in giving credit on Grameen Bank scheme; and (4) analyse the impact of giving credit on Grameen Bank scheme on coastal communities income. The sampling technique used is Cluster Sampling technique. Descriptive Statistics, Multiple Linear Regression Analysis and Hypothesis Testing have been carried out to answer the research objective. These Statistics and Analysis have been done to find out the level of knowledge of all members, the level of program implementation and the level of benefits received by members. Meanwhile, the Hypothesis Testing is used to find out the absolute effects in net income of small enterprises before and after Grameen Bank credit scheme has been given. This effects is analysed paired t-test. The results show that the level of knowledge of the members to the LEPP-M3 Cooperative of Grameen Bank scheme is very good. The implementation of Grameen Bank scheme helps greatly the communities in improving their business with reasonable requirements that are not burden to its members. Furthermore, another benefit of Grameen Bank lending scheme for their members is to raise their capital with credit facilities, and they are also accustomed to saving. In installment payments, members do not have to go to the cooperatives LEPP-M3, but cooperative management will visit a weekly meeting place which has been determined. Meanwhile, the results of Paired Samples Test indicate that there a positive correlation between the income of small enterprises before and after Grameen Bank Program. This means that by Grameen Bank scheme from the LEPP-M3 Cooperative Tuban, the income of small businesses increase

Abstract

Pecel Lele Lela Restaurant branches Pinangranti  is a restaurant that first presents the traditional Deep-fried Catfish food menu into a unique concept with modern restaurant management. This Research aims to (1) find out feasibility, (2) understand the marketing mix of services and assessments of consumer againt services marketing mix so far applied,  (3) analysis the  factors of internal and external environment that affect marketing strategies, and (4) establish  the  priority of alternative marketing strategies that can be  applied. Sampling technique in this research is purposive sampling. The method used in this research is descriptive method that focuses on invesment and business development aspect, as well as NPV, B/C, PBP, IRR, SWOT and QSPM analysis. Based on financial criteria feasibility on discount rate of 6% NPV Rp2.535.752.046. Net B/C 4,22. IRR 21,34% (IRR > 6%).The return on investment (PBP) which is based on the value of now with the discount rate of 6% are 1.81. It means that the restaurant pecel lele lela branch Pinangranti, East Jakarta worthy to be implemented.The resulted total scores value of both Internal Factor Evaluation (IFE) and External Factor Evaluation (EFE) were respectively 2,543 and 2,310 which puts the position on quadrant V, which hold and maintain. Abstract

By virtue of international agreements, Association of South East Asia Nation (ASEAN) member countries are currently in an economic cooperation within the ASEAN community. Potatoes are a leading commodity in Indonesia's agricultural sector, due to high production but only succeeded in exporting to two ASEAN countries and still inferior to Malaysia and Singapore. This study aims to identify competitiveness of the potato as a commodity, using Internal Factor Evaluation (IFE), using External factor evaluation (EFE) matrix and analyze the position of Indonesian potatoes using the Internal-External (IE) matrix. The analytical tools used in this study are EFE matrix, IFE matrix, and IE matrix. The sampling technique was purposive sampling, using the assessment of experts or experts who mastered the agricultural field, especially increasing the competitiveness of potato commodities, which knew potato farming from upstream to downstream. The results of this study indicate that internally and externally Indonesia is strong enough in facing the ASEAN Economic Community (AEC), currently in a condition of  hold and maintain, a strategy that can be done to strengthen the Indonesian potatoes internally and externally is to market penetration and product development. Keywords: EFE matrix, horticulture, IE matrix, IFE matrix, trading

Abstract

Berdasarkan data BPS Kota Bogor tahun 2014, Kota Bogor mempunyai populasi yang terus meningkat dari tahun ke tahun. Salah satu administrasi kependudukan yang banyak dibutuhkan adalah KTP, hal ini merupakan bagian yang penting dimiliki serta merupakan kewajiban bagi setiap masyarakatusia tertentu untuk memilikinya. Pelayanan yang diberikan diharapkan dapat memenuhi kebutuhan pengguna layanan sehingga dapat meningkatkan kepuasan pengguna layanan. Pengambilan sample dalam penelitian ini adalah sebanyak 100 responden. Pengolahan data dalam penelitian ini menggunakan Structural Equation Modeling (SEM) dengan Partial least Square. Pengguna layanan didominasi oleh remaja antara usia 17 -20 tahun yaitu sebesar 50%. Hasil analisis menunjukan bahwa physical environment quality, harga (price) berpengaruh terhadap kepuasan pengguna layanan, sedangkan interaction Quality, Outcome Quality tidak berpengaruh terhadap kepuasan penggunalayanan.

Abstract

The rises of the culinary industry in Indonesia nowadays has opened opportunities for startup developers to create online culinary directories platforms. One of popular online culinary directories or well known by online restaurant searcher in Indonesia is Zomato. To formulate Zomato?s promotional strategies, a study is needed on the sources of knowledge that can not be controlled by the company (non-business controlled). Based on this problem, the aims of this study are to identify the Zomato user characteristics and the relation with Zomato use decisions, to idenitify a relevant consumer sources of knowledge, to analyze it, and, to know its effect on Zomato use decisions. This study uses primary data and secondary data. This study is using logistic regression as analytical model. The result of this study shows that Zomato user is dominated by 16-25 age single woman. Most of them are student and lives in Jakarta. Average income of them are <Rp 2.000.000,- and monthly food expenses in range Rp 500.000,- - Rp 1.000.000,-. The responden using Zomato for looking hangout place or place to eat. The characteristics that affect the Zomato to use decisions are sex and food expenses per month. Logistic regression results at a significant level of 15 percents shows friends, idols, internet forums, bulletin boards, and government publications are the relevant sources of knowledge to the decision for using Zomato. Respondents who strongly agree to know Zomato through friends and government publications tend to use Zomato apps than the other categories. Respondents who know Zomato through idols tend to use apps. Respondents who disagree to know Zomato through internet forums tend to use Zomato website, and respondents who know Zomato through bulletin boards tend to use the Zomato website. Keywords: consumer behaviour, consumer decision, non-business controlled consumer source of knowledge.

Abstract

Micro, small and medium enterprises are able to safe the economy, especially in Indonesia. On the other hand, Indonesia has to face the Asian Economic Community in 2025, that is why micro small and medium enterprises need to understand the factors of business success to compete in to participate in Asian Economic Community. The aims of this research are to know the business characteristics and businessmen characteristics of micro small and medium enterprises fruit and milk processing and to analyze factors affecting business success. Questionnaire surveys have been conducted to 31 respondents for each clusters, milk processing and fruit processing. Data were analyzed by descriptive and multiple linear regression analysis. Multiple linear regression has been conducted in order to examine the relative impact of the identified factors on business success. The factor that affecting business success in fruit and milk processing was entrepreneurial marketing and government policies. The results of this research can be beneficial to relevant agencies.

Abstract

According to Nielsen Advertising Information Services said the 2015 total advertising expenditure increased by 4%. This increase was also influenced by existing companies in Indonesia including PT Unilever Indonesia. Tbk with its brand advertising products Wall's Magnum Ice Cream. This study aims to identify consumer ratings of advertising done by Ice cream Magnum, analyzing the effectiveness of ads Magnum Ice Cream is able to communicate the message and analyzing consumer purchase decisions over the ads that do Magnum Ice Cream. Data processing was performed using Statistical Package For Social Science (SPSS) 19 and Minitab 14. The analysis tool used is the EPIC model and Consumer Decision Model (CDM). Based on the analysis, the measurement response television advertising and communication impact that occurs, television commercials advertising the Magnum Ice Cream edition Taste the Classic included in the category of advertising is quite effective and have an impact until the real purchase.

Abstract

This research was aimed to know factors related to the action programs as a representation of BPP performance and relationship between factors that potentially increase BPP performance and their impacts to the behavioral changes of ricefield farmers in South Sulawesi. Population of this research were all BPP located in 15 districts (regencies) in South Sulawesi (176 sub-districts/150 BPP). Determination of samples used Slovin method, number of samples was 109 BPP located within 109 sub-districts. Research design was done based on the ex post facto with method design of survey and interviews using questionnaires. Design of data analysis used approach of Structural Equation Modeling (SEM) model applying LISREL program. Results of the research showed that variables of BPP development, BPP management, human resources, guided farmers, BPP resources, and BPP adaptation were significantly influencing the action programs as BPP representative performances with correlation coefficient (R2) was 0.72, the remaining 28 percent was affected by other factors outside of the study. Those factors directly influenced each others both insignificant and significant at ? = 0.05. Besides that, they also indirectly influenced farmer behavior as much as 0.78 unit. The influence of action program as representation of BPP performances to the farmer behavior was indicated by correlation coefficient (R2) of 0.61, the remaining 39 percent was influenced by other variables outside of the study. Strategic implication of this research become important to the farmer behaviors, and to the development of BPP performances through action programs to a better direction by considering BPP development, BPP management, human resources, guided farmers, BPP resources and BPP adaptation.Keywords : Performances, development, management, resources, adaptation, action program, farmer behavior, BPP

Abstract

The existence of professional agri-extension worker is main extension?s issue to move it effectively and efficiently. Professionalism related with agri-extension worker?s performance. The existing main problem is agri-extension worker?s performance in Indonesia is quite low. It is because of agri-extension worker has low individual quality, include in some district in South Sumatera. Therefore, the objectives of this study is to measure the performance of agri-extension worker. The research used a survey method with quantitative and qualitative approach. It conducted in South Ogan Komering Ulu (OKU) District, South Sumatera Province, with census method to sampling. The respondents of the study were 65 of agri-extension workers. The scoring method used the measurement indicators from The Regulation of Minister of Agriculture Number. 91/Permentan/OT.140/9/2013. Overall performance of agricultural extension agents in South OKU District is in well category. It is supported by the worker's ability to prepare and implement extension?s activities. However, there are shortcomings in terms of extension?s evaluation had been done. Thus, it is required a continuous evaluation.Keywords: extension performance, extension, extension worker
