Abstract

Pajak penghasilan (PPh) pasal 23 adalah pajak yang dipotong atas penghasilan yang berasal dari modal, penyerahan jasa, atau hadiah dan penghargaan, selain yang telah dipotong PPh Pasal 21. Aturan mengenai PPh Pasal 23 ini seringkali mengalami perubahan. Dharma (2007:1) menyatakan bahwa seiiring dengan perkembangan usaha, Direktur Jenderal Pajak melakukan perubahan terhadap Keputusan Direktur Jenderal Pajak Nomor KEP-170/PJ/2002 tentang Jenis Jasa lain dan Perkiraan Penghasilan Neto sebagaimana dimaksud dalam Pasal 23 ayat (1) huruf c Undang-Undang Nomor 7 Tahun 1983 tentang Pajak Penghasilan sebagaimana telah diubah terkahir dengan Undang-Undang Nomor 17 Tahun 2000. Dengan telah dikeluarkannya 1 (satu) Keputusan Direktur Jenderal Pajak dan 2 (dua) Peraturan Direktur Jenderal Pajak tentang Jenis Jasa Lain dan Perkiraan Penghasilan Netto PPh.Pasal 23 yang  mempunyai  masa  berlaku  yang berbeda, disamping itu perbedaan paling menonjol dari ketiga peraturan tersebut  adalah  masalah  perkiraan  penghasilan  netto  dan  pengaturan mengenai obyek penyerahan yang harus dipotong PPh. Pasal 23.  Apabila fiskus maupun wajib pajak kurang cermat, maka dampaknya  akan mempengaruhi hak dan kewajibannya dibindang perpajakan. Kekhawatiran yang dinyatakan oleh Dharma tersebut tentunya berlaku juga untuk wilayah Kota Mataram, mengingat Kota Mataram berada di wilayah propinsi Nusa Tenggara Barat (NTB) yang merupakan propinsi dengan peringkat ke 27 dari 34 propinsi di Indonesia. Berdasarkan latar belakang tersebut, maka perlu dilakukan penelitian untuk mengetahui bagaimana cara fiskus maupun wajib pajak menghitung PPh.Pasal 23 tersebut. Selain itu penelitian ini perlu dilakukan untuk mengetahui seberapa akurat perhitungan yang dilakukan untuk PPh Pasal 23 tersebut. Penelitian ini merupakan Penelitian Deskriptif dengan menggunakan studi pustaka, yaitu menganalisa data yang sudah tertuang pada Laporan PKL Mahasiswa Prodi  DIII  Perpajakan  FEB  Unram. Dan hasil penelitian ini menggambarkan bahwa variasi perhitungan PPh Pasal 23 yang terdappat di Kota Mataram menggunakan tarif terbaru yaitu 2% dan 15% dikalikan dengan penghasilan Bruto. Tidak ditemukan pada sampel bahwa  masih  ada  perusahaan  maupun  instansi  yang  masih  menggunakan tarif  yang  lama  seperti  yang  dilaporkan  pada  salah  satu Laporan  PKL mahasiswa Prodi D-III Perpajakan FEB Unram. Adapun kesalahan tersebut murni bersumber dari mahasiswa yang masih kurang memahami mengenai perhitungan PPh Pasal 23 tersebut

Abstract

  Abstract In carrying out its activities, Sharia Banks can not be separated by non-halal fund. The disclosure of non-halal fund becoming urgent because Sharia Banks have an obligation to present sharia compliant financial statement based on sharia principle and sharia accounting standard no. 109. The research was purposed to find out the conformity of non-halal fund disclosure among sharia accounting standard no. 109 and Sharia Banks financial statement. The result showed that all of Sharia Banks that observed on the year of 2015-2017 had disclosed its non-halal fund in financial statement according to sharia accounting standard no. 109. Though, there was a deficiency information about the detail amount of each transactions. Keywords : Sharia Banks, Disclosure, Non-Halal Fund   Abstrak Perbankan syariah dalam aktivitas bisnisnya terkadang tidak terlepas dari kegiatan yang menghasilkan penerimaan non-halal. Pengungkapan dana non-halal menjadi penting mengingat bahwa bank syariah harus menyajikan laporan keuangan yang sesuai dengan prinsip syariah berdasarkan PSAK 109. Penelitian ini bertujuan untuk mengkaji sejauh mana kesesuaian pengungkapan pendapatan non-halal antara PSAK 109 dengan praktik pengungkapan pada laporan keuangan bank umum syariah di Indonesia. Hasil penelitian menunjukkan bahwa semua bank umum syariah selama tahun 2015-2017 telah mengungkapkan pendapatan non-halal dalam laporan keuangannya baik itu jumlah dana maupun penjelasannya dalam laporan keuangan. Walaupun belum ditemukan secara rinci jumlah per item transaksi. Namun, secara umum bank syariah telah mengungkapkan pendapatan non-halal sesuai dengan PSAK 109. Abstract

For go public banking entity, applying PSAK 60 (revised 2014) regarding disclosure of financial instruments in the financial statements is a necessity in order to provide information to readers of financial statements. Disclosure and presentation of information is a fundamental effort to provide information on financial statements for users of financial information. To be useful, accounting information must be relevant to meet the needs of users of financial statements in the decision making process. The purpose of this study is to examine the increased relevance of the value of disclosure of financial instruments after PSAK 60 (revised 2014) to banking company listed on the Indonesia Stock Exchange before and after PSAK 60 (revised 2014) is effective on 1 January 2015. The findings of this study indicated that somehow the quality of information disclosure of financial instrument has relevance to the decisions investors as reflected by the stock price. This is shown by the positive coefficient direction although the value of financial instrument disclosure coefficients shows the influence of financial instruments is not statistically significant, which indicates that the results of this study support the value relevance theory, whereby the higher level of financial instrument disclosure in the financial statements the higher the market value of equity firms.

Abstract

The aim of this paper is to define ultimate ownership and empirically verified the differences of risk rate, efficiency and performance on Shari’ah Banking Industry with ultimate ownership held by Indonesian national governmental banks, local governmental banks, block shareholding private insititutions, concentrated private banks, mixed foreign and domestic banks, foreign banks and family banks. This research object is Shari’ah Banks were listed in Indonesian Stock Exchange in the year of 2015-2017, with 36 observation unit. The data shown that the concentrated private and foreign banks, mixed foreign and domestic banks and family banks as ultimate ownership hold 75% ownership, whereas Indonesian national governmental banks and local governmental banks only have 25% ownership. This finding according to Claessens et al. (2000), Siregar (2008), Abbas et al. (2009), Surifah (2011), Chalid (2013), Susilowati and Sanjaya (2015), Lingmin (2016), Novado and Hartomo (2017). Conversely with Faccio and Lang (2002). Using statistical analysis Kruskal Wallis Test, We found the differences in risk rate (measured by FDR and CAR), efficiency (measured by NIM) and performance (measured by ROE). Based on risk rate, efficiency and general banking performance. The best banks performance are concentrated private banks. The determine of these results were strict supervision by shareholders, maanger competency, company reputation and large flow of funds. Otherwise, local governmental banks are the worst. We identify the determine of these results were the lack of supervision from government as a shareholders, incompetent management, less of inovation and promotion and low of aggressiveness to attract the customer.   Keywords : Shari’ah Banks, Ultimate Ownership, Risk Rate, Efficiency, Performance.

Abstract

This study aims to examine the characteristics of governance as a stimulus of tax management. The sample of this study is all non-banking and finance companies that included in the Top 50 Publicly Listed Companies - Indonesia based on ASEAN version of Corporate Governance Scorecard and did not experience losses from 2015 – 2016. Based on those predetermined criteria, the study obtained 16 companies as sample of the study. The test results showed that only ETR and previous year Cash ETR had positive effect on tax management. Meanwhile, other variables sucha s coporate governance, the number of directors, the number of independent directors, the remuneration of the executive board and the BTD of the previous year were found to have no effect on tax management. Governance does not affect tax management due to corporate governance in Indonesia is still low so it needs improvement especially protection of shareholders
