Abstract

Latar Belakang. Departemen Kesehatan Republik Indonesia tahun 2009 menyatakan penyebab langsung kematian ibu sebesar 90% terjadi pada saat persalinan dan segera setelah persalinan. Penyebab langsung kematian ibu adalah perdarahan sebesar 28%, eklamsia sebesar 24% dan infeksi sebesar 11%. Sedangkan untuk penyebab tidak langsung kematian ibu adalah Kurang Energi Kronik (KEK) pada saat kehamilan sebesar 37% dan anemia pada saat kehamilan sebesar 40%. Mempercepat pencapaian program MDG’s, diperlukan upaya percepatan penurunan kematian ibu dan bayi melalui peningkatan pengetahuan dan perubahan perilaku ibu dan keluarga. Peningkatan pengetahuan dan perubahan perilaku ini diharapkan kesadaran terhadap pentingnya kesehatan selama kehamilan menjadi meningkat. Program yang diselenggarakan oleh Kementerian Kesehatan untuk mendukung langkah tersebut adalah Kelas Ibu Hamil. Tujuan. Menganalisis hubungan antara keaktifan, pengetahuan gizi ibu dan pemberian Air Susu Ibu dengan status gizi bayi pada peserta program kelas ibu hamil. Metode. Rancangan penelitian ini dengan pendekatan cross sectional. Sampel penelitian ini adalah semua bayi usia 6-8 bulan pada populasi tersebut. Analisis hubungan antara keaktifan dan pemberian ASI dengan status gizi dilaksanakan dengan uji Korelasi Rank Spearman. Analisis hubungan antara pengetahuan ibu dengan status gizi dilaksanakan dengan uji Pearson. Hasil. Ada hubungan yang tidak signifikan antara keaktifan ibu dan status gizi, korelasinya positif dan keeratan rendah ( r= 0,074 p value= 0,68 ). Ada hubungan yang tidak signifikan antara pengetahuan ibu dengan status gizi, korelasinya positif dan keeratan rendah (r= 0,275 dan p value= 0,122). Ada hubungan yang signifikan antara pemberian ASI dan status gizi, korelasinya positif dan keeratan rendah ( r= 0,315 dan p value= 0,045 ). Kesimpulan. Ada hubungan yang tidak signifikan antara keaktifan dan pengetahuan gizi ibu dengan status gizi bayi. Abstract

Background : The problem of malnutrition is influenced by many factors. They are direct factors and indirect factors. Direct factors are the imbalance of food and infected diseases that the children under five years old suffer from. Energy intake is on the average of 73,6% from AKG, protein intake is on the average of 83,5% from AKG. Low education background (graduated from elementary school 41,6%) influences the lack of knowledge of parents about nutrition and health, especially mothers. This is also one of the factors of malnutrition of children under five years old. Prevalence of malnutrition in Dempet is 1,4%.Objective : To know the factors that influence malnutrition status of children under five years old in the working area of public health centre Dempet, Dempet district, Demak regency.Method : Analytic research with case control frame with retrospective approach. Case sample consists of 49 and control sample is also 49. Date are computed and analyzed by using Chi-Square test and Odds ratio test to know how big malnutrition factors are.Results : Energy intake is less found in case group (87,8%), good energy intake is found in control group (89,8%). Protein intake is less found in case group (71,45%), good protein intake is found in control group (95,9%). Suffering from infection diseases is found in case group (87,8%), not suffering from infection diseases is found in control group (77,6%). Having lack of knowledge is found in case group (71,4%). Having good knowledge is found in control group (59,2%). There is asignificant influence between energy intake with value of p=0,000, odds ratio is 63,037, protein intake with value of p=0,000, odds ratio is 58,750, infection event with value of p=0,000, odds ratio is 24,758 and knowledge with value of p=0,002, odds ratio is 3,625 with malnutrition status of children under five years old.Conclution : Energy intake, protein intake,infection diseases and mothers knowledge influence malnutrition status in the working area of public health centre Dempet, Demak.

Abstract

volunteers are active as Cadre in health center. Some of them are not active, it may be due to the education, knowledge, attitudes, socio-economic and other factors such as motivation, the distance between home and participation in community organizations. In Puskesmas Wonosalam I found 56 posyandu with 284 people in which cadre active 42.6%, 47.2% and 10.2% less active inactive.Objective: to know the difference of knowledge, attitudes, education and income between the active and inactive cadresMethod: The study was a retrospective descriptive analytic study. Sample 29 cadres off as cases and 29 active volunteers as controls. Chi square test was used to determine differences in attitudes and income. To determine differences in knowledge and education using fisher exact test.Results:There is statistically difference in knowledge between the active and inactive volunteers (p = 0.002). There is a difference in attitudes between the active and inactive volunteers (p = 0.000). There is no difference in education between active and inactive volunteers (p = 1.000). There is no difference in income between the active and inactive volunteers (p = 0.791).Conclusion : Refreshing cadres, intensive coaching and support of additional transport and health services for the cadres sholud be added.

Abstract

Background : Hypertension is a health issues that needs attention. Based on Riskesdas Data, prevalence of hypertension increased from 7,6% in 2007 to 9,5% in 2013. One of the treatments which can be done is by giving fruits that contain potassium and fiber.Objective : To determine the effect of melon fruit on the decrease systolic and diastolic blood pressure in patients with hypertension age 41-64 years.Method : This study used Quasi Experiment method with Pretest Posttest Control Group Design. The samples of study was determined by non randomized sampling technique consists of 11 treatments and 11 controls sampels.Results : there was significant difference in systolic and diastolic blood pressure between the treatment and control group (p<0,05). There was no effect of giving melon fruit to decrease systolic (p=0,071) and diastolic (p=0,042) blood pressure in patient hypertension with control variable of sodium, potassium, magnesium, calcium and fiber intake.Conclusion : Consumption of melon fruit for 9 days can reduce systolic blood pressure 14.82±5.759 mmHg and diastolic of 7.64±2.292 mmHg, although statistically  insignificant

Abstract

Background: Indonesia is still faced with a triple burden of nutrition, such as malnutrition, stunting and overnutrition. According to UNICEF, one of the cause nutrition problems is the lack of knowledge about nutrition. The prevention of health problem starts at the early stage, namely the understanding of balance nutrition guideline in school-age children. New method need to be made to make it easier for students to arrest nutrition message, namely in the form of edutainment cards.Objective: To determine the effectiveness of nutrition education by using the edutainment card method on knowledge about balance nutrition guideline in elementary school.Research Methods: The type of research is Experimental with pre and post-control group design design. Sampling using random sampling technique to get 30 treatment samples and 30 control samples. Research was in SDN Palebon 02, conducted in Februari 2019. The data collected are sample identity dataand knowledge of balance nutrition guideline. The data was analysed by independent t-test with 95% confidence level.Results: There was significant difference in knowledge about balance nutrition guideline in the treatment and control groups after intervention with edutainment card method (p value = 0.001).Conclusion: Edutainment card as a media for education is effective for increasing nutrition knowledge in children

Abstract

THE ANALYSIS OF FACTORS RELATED TO FOOD INTAKE ON THALASSEMIA PATIENT IN BANYUMAS HOSPITALBackground : Nutritional deficiencies in long time can impair growth in thalassemia children, and the low energy reserves and existence of hypercatabolic make nutrition status of children leading to wasting condition. Result of initial survey in Instalation of Integrated Thalassemia Service, Banyumas Hospital, energy intake on thalassemia patient 54% is deficiency category. Objective : To find factors related to food intake on thalassemia patient who receive regular blood transfusion in Banyumas Hospital.Methods : The kind of research is inferential with cross sectional design. The number of subject is 57 patients, age 6-15 years. Statistic analysis is used to chi square test.Results : The part of subject energy intake is deficit, with mean of energy intake is 85,74 ± 13,62% AKG. All of subject do not experience side effect of gastrointestinal disturbance from consuming iron chelation. 66,7% subject consume supplement according to doctor prescription, 57,9% subject have good of nutrition knowledge, and 63,2% subject get good support from family. Result of statistic analysis is p value for consuming supplement variabel is 0,003; 0,57 for nutrition knowledge and 0,01 for family support.Conclusion : There are relation about consuming supplement and family support with food intake, but there are no relation about nutrition knowledge with food intake.

Abstract

Background  : School age is a child growth period, so need to pay attention to nutrients and foods consumed safely. The adverse effects of consuming unhealthy and unsafe snack foods in schools need to be avoided, this can be done through health promotion. One of the ways in which students are not saturated in extension activities is to use puzzle games because the delivery of nutritional messages becomes more fun and involves participating students actively in the game.Objective  : To know the effectiveness of nutritional education with the media of puzzle to the knowledge, attitude, and practice of students related to snack food  at SDN Tlogosari Kulon 02 and SD N Pedurungan Lor 1.Method  : This research type is Quasi Experiment with design time series design. Sampling using random sampling technique to get 30 treatment samples and 30 control samples. Data collected are knowledge, attitude and practice data. The statistical tests used Paired t-test, Wilcoxon, independent t-test and Mann Whitney test.Result  : There was a difference of knowledge and attitude of treatment group after giving education with puzzle media (p = 0,000, p = 0,030). There were no differences in practice in the treatment group and the control group after the intervention (p = 0.492 and p = 0.203). There is a significant difference of knowledge and attitude between treatment and control group (p value = 0,011; p value = 0,016). There was no significant difference in practice between treatment and control groups after intervention (p value = 0.152).Conclusion  : The provision of  nutritional education with puzzle media can improve knowledge and attitude of students about food snack.

Abstract

Background : Dyslipidemia is a lipid metabolism disorder, which is characterized by increased or decreased lipid fraction in the blood of increased total cholesterol levels, LDL cholesterol, triglycerides, and decreased HDL cholesterol. Patients with dyslipidemia tend to have a higher risk of atherosclerosis. Objective : This study aimed to determine the effect of tomato lime juice on total blood cholesterol levels 0-60 years old women. Methods : This was true experiment study designed with randomized pre and post test control group design. The samples of this study were women aged 40-60 years were not diagnosed dyslipidemia with cholesterol total ≥150 mg / dl. The treatment group received tomato lime juice, for the control group did not get special treatment. The treatment study conducted for 21 days. Measurement of cholesterol levels before and after treatment using cholesterol test, blood sample retrieved after subject of the study had fasting for 10 hours long. Statistical analysis difference of post cholesterol content between treatment and control group analyzed by independent t-test. Multiple linear regression test ware used for predict the effect of nutrition intake toward cholesterol total level. Result : In the study of nutritional status of the sample included in the category of obesity (60.5%). The nutrient intake included in the deficit category. Total cholesterol levels in both groups before intervention did not differ (p = 0.937). Bivariate analysis, The treatment and control group of the study have difference in total cholesterol decreasing (p = 0.024). The mean decrease of cholesterol level in treatment and control group which are 18.35 mg / dl and 12.06 mg / dl. Multivariate analysis, cholesterol levels controlled with intake did not differ (p>0.05) Conclusion : The tomato lime juice treatment affects the total cholesterol levels in the 40-60 years old women.

Abstract

Background  : Communicable diseases is one of the health problems causing deaths in Indonesia. To handle the problem, the government formed Posbindu-PTM which is expected to detect as early as possible non-communicable diseases. Posbindu-PTM is expected to solve the problem but its participation is still low. The success of Posbindu-PTM is influenced by various factors such as the level of knowledge, completeness of facilities and infrastructure and family support.Objective  : To determine the determinant factors of community participation in posbindu-PTM in the work area of Puskesmas Leyangan, Semarang regency. Method  : A recent survey of analytic research design it is the were cross sectional .Large in the entire household sample 107 and extraction of to be sampled taking proportionate random sampling .The data were drawn their level of participation , community knowledge , the completeness of the facilities and infrastructures and family encouragement uses a questionnaire .It is anticipated that analysis data using chi-square to bivariat and the regression of the logistics simple to multivariate .Result  : Active community participation on Posbindu-PTM 67,3% and less active 32,7%. Bivariate analysis of the relationship between the knowledge level of the community and the participation of p = 0,000, the relation of facilities and infrastructure with participation p = 0,021 and family support relationship with participation p = 0,000. Multivariate analysis of knowledge level p = 0,000 (p value <0,05), completeness of facility and infrastructure p = 0,483 (p value> 0,05) and family support p = 0,162 (p value> 0,05). Conclusion: The factors that influence community participation in Posbindu-PTM in Leyangan Puskesmas are knowledge level, completeness of facilities and infrastructure and family support and the most dominant is the level of knowledge.

Abstract

Background : DM is a metabolic disease which is characteristic by hyperglycemia and not rarely DM patients dependent on drugs throughout their lives. Drug consumption provides certain side effects such as naunsea, vomiting, diarrhea, constipation, hypoglycemia and weight gain, therefore it is necessary to give alternative treatment in preventing the occurrence of DM with the consumption of fruits and vegetables.Objective : to determine the effect of smoothies combination of fruit and vegetable on alteration of fasting blood glucose level in adult women.Methode :The research type was True Experiment research and used Randomized Pretest Posttest Control Group Design. Independent T-test was used to analyze the differences of  blood glucose levels between the treatment group and the control group and ANOVA Repeated Measure Test was used to analyze  determine the relationship between smoothies combination of fruits and vegetables with controlled blood glucose levels and nutrient intake.Results :  There were no significant effect in fasting blood glucose levels (p=0.799) between treatment group and control group, while the energy, protein, fat, carbohydrate and fiber intake level were effected on fasting blood glucose levels but not significant (p> 0.05).Conclusion : Consumption of smoothies combination of fruits and vegetables for 3 weeks can lower fasting blood glucose level in adult women by 5,33mg/dl (4,35%), althought statistically insignificant.
