Abstract

The issues of Christianization in Salatiga become the other side from a city that presumed was peacefully plural place. Begin from Salatiga impression as a Christian city because of the alleged huge housing Christian worship, The Christian domination in Salatiga cause of the largest Christian university faith-based local that lifted up named Satya Wacana Christian University, Until a long cases related to land disputes in Salib Putih at year end 2007 involving two groups of full of ambition on behalf of Islam and Christian that making the issue continues to roll in speculation without clarification. This research aims to analyze how Salatiga’s moslem perception in defining the issues and factors that affect the perception. In order to refine the analysis in the fields of communication, this research also uses the concept of Coordinated Management of Meaning to understand the construction of the perception being created every informant. The results showed that the tendency of perception lies in the context of the majority and minority. The difference lies in the perception is factors among people (informant) , factors on the object of perception, and the factors on the situation. The factors that influencing informant itself is attitudes, interests, and experiences. Factors that influence the perception of an object is the movement, size, and proximity. Abstract

Onecubed is an evangelism television program focused on youth in Indonesia. This program produced by CBN (Cahaya Bagi Negeri) and broadcasted by GlobalTV, an Indonesia television channel. CBN has a vision that this program can effectively evangelized the youth in Indonesia, at the same time, Global TV aims to reach a high rating by broadcasting such programme. In reality, evangelism programme doesn’t give much rating. By knowing this information this research made in Van Djik crtitical analition. Based on this information, this research aimed to understand the construction of evangelism television programme by analizing the texts provided in to youth. Related themes during june-juli 2012. Van Dijk critical discourse analysis method is being used to explore the construction structure and its meaning. This findings of the study provide explanations on the formation of youth evangelism programme in Indonesia, that give perspectives to understand media relations (media power) in the context of political economy of media. This study also underlined the importance of youth evangelism television  programme as a “serious” programme that can not be underestimated, eventhough its been frawed with entertainment approaches. Keywords: Youth Televangelism in Indonesia, Critical Discourse Analysis, Political Economy of  Media, Cahaya Bagi Negri (CBN).

Abstract

Susi Pudjiastuti is part of Jokowi-JK Cabinet that became controversial because of her profile and policy. She is women ministry that having tatoo, smoker and only graduated from junior high school, on the other side her policy to sinking and burst illegal ship which steal fish in Indonesia ocean make some pro-contra. This research are focuses on how online media construct Susi’s profile and policy on 3 popular online media detik.com, kompas.com and antaranews.com using Pan Kosiscki framing analysis model.The result showed that each media has their own way to construct Susi’s news. Detik.com describe Susi as a succses entrepreneuer without high education and her policy to burst illegal ship is legal to do it. Kompas.com describe Susi as a “nyentrik” minister and she still burst illegal ship altough created pro-contra. Antaranews.com describe Susi as a competent women and her policy to burst illegal ship is an explicit action to give lesson.Keywords : Menteri Susi, Profil, Kebijakan, Framing, Media Online
